Most Oklahoma fans can't afford lower bowl tickets. The average upper level income in Oklahoma is about $33K per year for an Interstate Cleanup Engineering Degree from University of Oklahoma. They just can't pull of the cost of a lower bowl ticket. Too bad !

Median income per state:

OK: $51,924

Your backwards arse cousin fricking state: $47,905

I find this amazing. Bama shut down OU’s offense completely, went up 28-0 and then played prevent. Bama’s D never stepped on the field again without being up 18 points. That’s 3 scores.

that's a lot of words to say they won by 11

also, if you weren't illiterate, you'd know by now that post was referencing UGA's defense, not Bama's.
quote:

Hope we do not break too many of them the 28th. Hate to see them get all broken in there last game of the year.

Lsu hits pretty hard, no doubt Oklahoma will have have some bruises after 1st and 2nd quarter

You guys never said you were gonna hit hard. . . shite, I need to go tell Lincoln.

shite seems to disappear in the playoffs

the frick do you know about the playoffs
quote:

cuz with a healthy baker I’m about 99% sure you lose by 2-3 TDs even with the shitty defense we had.

Let's not go there...UGA took the game from us. OU finished with 45 points, that should have been plenty.

Georgia had a defense and OU didn't...and we paid the price for it.

luckiest

Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.
Shouldn't you be preparing for a Big XII offense to steamroll your "D" for the 3rd year in a row...
Wonder if it was the Texas Bowl invite that put him over the top. . .

You realize the 50s and 60s was before modern college football right?

So you're taking away one of your few NC's and your only other Heisman?

Enjoy that.

Just in case you were wondering, numbers like 34, 31, and 17 are more than 10.

referring to crossing the Rubicon as "politics"

Here's to when you learn who the people were that forbade the cross. He broke the law on Imperium...

Go look that up and then we'll talk.
First of all, learn to count. Good lord, just how plate-licking retarded are you people? OU has 2 wins in the last 6 bowls...Bama and Auburn.

I'm guessing if our last 6 bowl games were Citrus Bowl, Texas Bowl, Outback Bowl, etc...we might have fared better?

This isn't a "once in a decade" experience for OU...we do this every year.

Our last 6 bowls were Orange, Rose, Sugar, Orange, Russell Athletic, and Sugar.

Well done....and yes, it is.

Funny thing about crossing the Rubicon.
It's an overstated accomplishment
... the Rubicon is actually no wider than a drainage ditch.
Not much water to cross at all.

Holy shite, just how fricking stupid are you people?

"Crossing the Rubicon" doesn't have anything to do with the challenge of crossing the river...It references Caesar's haunting decision to defy Rome and cross the river. IOW, once he crossed the Rubicon, there was no going back.

...just realized I'm explaining ancient Roman politics to Earnest T Bass

quote:

At least you have that to fall back on after we beat y'all silly.

Certainly. I have to admit, it would be a tough pill to swallow to lose to Alabama's life-long personal bitch.

I mean, OU is 3-1 vs Bama this century, but losing to their little bitch is not an option.
quote:

Ok, red dirt for brains. Why does ou base their rallying cry off a term for cheating? We’re all those championships won by cheating? Honestly would like to know, I worked at ou and no one could ever answer that question.

Originally, the term "Sooner" (after the fact) was credited to the land run participants that left early, before the cannons signaled the start of a particular land run.

During the same era, the term "Sooner" was adopted as a moniker for "progressive" settlers as the pioneers settled the territory into statehood.

Long story short, the term "Sooner" in the early 1900's was more of a general term for ALL land run participants, and not a derogatory term for people who left early.

*It's also the official nickname of a football program that's better, historically than LSU.

I know you're excited, Corky...but you might want to have your mom proofread your sentence fragments before you prove to the world that you're special needs.

Like I said, let me know if you need help.

Mr. Rubicon, can we look forward to seeing you on this board after the game?

Sure.

It may take a while, I'll be at the game...then celebrating with your mom. After that, sure.

You know how I know you are fat?

Here's to you one day learning the difference between "fluid" and "fat."

Boxers lose 10+ lbs of fluid per fight and they have little to no fat at all.

Anything else you need, just let me know.
