Hmmm . .OU loses to KSU . . . .Texas requires an absolute miracle in overtime to beat an unranked Tech squad . . .TCU loses to Iowa State.

We definitely want back in that absolute s#$t show of a conference.

And yeah . .we are the racist University. Glass houses and all that.

Do a quick Google search for Robert Lee Moore, the man whose name has been on the physics, math and astronomy building at UT-Austin since 1973, and one of the first things you’ll learn is that he was a staunch segregationist who refused to teach black students. Numerous accounts from former students and colleagues tell of his hostility toward the black community, and a collection of old news clippings in his archives at the Briscoe Center reveal an obsession with claims of intellectual differences among the races.

A virtual meeting of young black men at the University of Texas was interrupted Monday when unwelcome visitors logged on and started using racial slurs, students and faculty members at the meeting say.

Young black men at UT learn what others think of them

And I can go on and on an on with all the blackface incidents and racist fight song history and so many other incidents.

Texas is leading the series against OU by 14 games.

It isn't as dominant as their lead over A&M, but it is substantial.

Both OU and Texas are overrated again this year, as usual, but Texas likely pushes their edge over OU to 15 games.

While Texas A&M has more than provided enough ammunition this summer alone to respond 3-fold to all of those racist stories about UT (some of which occurred well over a decade or have been remedied), I'm not going to go there.

And "absolute miracle to beat an unranked tech squad" Um... was A&M not a play or two away from dropping their season opener to Vanderbilt? A team with a FR qb, 10 players not playing, and that A&M was favored to defeat by over 30 points?

All that would happen if you came back to the Big 12 is the same that's happened to your pathetic program for 80 years: accomplish nothing and be a doormat to your "rivals" which are teams that don't even consider you their real rival

Lol right, and people would be DYING to have championship-less Mississippi State in their league

At least y'all have one of those ever elusive top 4 finishes in something in the past 80 years. So at least y'all are the best of two maroons in your division haha

An easy win West win with you Aggots in cool. You are the slumpbuster of the SEC.

Its also fun watching you get blown out 3 or 4 times a year.

Then there’s no need to “end Slive’s mistake,” is there?

Doesn’t matter. We’re in the best division of the best league in the country.
And you are in a league that had been dying a slow death with no future prospects.

Basically proving my point.

Texas doesn't hinge on conference pride. They are hinging on their own accomplishments.

A&M and Mississippi State can't do this because those schools have never accomplished anything. So it's more fun to root for your fathers Alabama, LSU, Auburn, etc etc

There are almost twice as many television sets in greater Houston (pop 7.9 mil) than in the state of Alabama (4.9 mil pop).

If you enjoy that conference distribution on an annual basis, you'll take your money and thank the great state of Texas for underwriting your athletic department.

Still better than A&M's ever was in the current century. And that's despite the last decade undoubtedly being Texas's worst in the history of its program. Ouch.

Which conference are we discussing? You guys blew up the old southwest long ago.

Trying to follow that road map back to anything relevant today would be quiet the journey.

By far, the most distinguished of what remains in the newly morphed Big 12 are the Sooners. And these days, Lincoln Riley has all the defensive principles of a Mike Leach. How's that working out?
