not that anything you threw up on the screen is worth responding, but this, this is where the biggest difference comes in. there are expectations due to writing checks, and then there are expectations due to recent history, or somewhat recent history. i think you know which one has expectations due to success.
also, CLK got OM to the playoffs, hands down, and you knew that too as you wept on the screen.

Sounds like a serious question.

From everything I’ve heard, LK wasn’t around the program except on Saturdays

Texas A&M has one playoff appearance and two top ten finishes this decade.
LSU has zero.
So yes, you are right, Texas A&M has had much more recent success to base their expectations on.

Better question for a Rebel Runt like yourself:
Will Ole Miss return to 60 year tradition of striving for mediocrity now that Kiffin left. As for being familiar with 7-6 and 8-4, that was considered a great year for Ole Miss prior to Lane's arrival.
FYI, Golding was just a stand-in for the man who got you to the CFP.
Keep trolling dude. It's weak and screams insecurity over the "Bugger" Golding era.

No, but 2026 Ole Miss will be 2020 Ole Miss.

Who was their coach that year?

A new coach who became one of Ole Miss's best ever and then left for greener pastures. Good try. Even Ed Orgeron, one of Ole Miss's least successful coaches fielded the GOAT CFB team at LSU.

Seems pretty generous to Lane.
Jimbo's resume is way way better than Lane's.

I didn't downvote. I'm sorry that asking a question got your panties all twisted.

I notice you and your cohort did not actually address the subject. That would be very awkward.

LSU fans can not actually address the subject we are talking about without admitting they have reverted back to what they have traditionally always been - a mid-tier SEC program that has the occasional good year every decade or so.
