Had? They still do. This is an AD that hired Bruce Pearl. If that doesn't explain it perfectly, I don't know what will. That's far worse than us hiring Harrick, and we know how that turned out. Dooley wanted nothing to do with Harrick, but Adams overruled him.

7.

Yes, I know how many #1 classes they’ve had. They began an annual tradition of buying Auburn’s highest rated commit/lean every year immediately following Auburn’s 2010 title.

Haha. We had a kid commit to us on ESPN on NSD who ended up signing with Bama. (He was the #1 OL in the country.) Saban went on the air in his presser and told everyone “We REALLY need a LT in this class!” right after he committed to AU. Who do you think he was talking to? Lols.

They moved them, or they moved themselves? I've not heard anything about Alabama moving them.

Lol, you should ask the Bama posters on this very forum. It isn’t a secret that Bama paid for their move. They happily admit it.

Yeah, it's a legit question since he was deciding between schools. Honestly, until LSU proves it can develop QBs and showcase their talents I don't blame them for being hesitant to sign at LSU.

I do think that changes in 2018 with Brennan/Narcisse.

Shouldn't you be posting under an LSU logo?...sounds like it.

So your argument is that an 18 year old kid has better judgement than adults?

When it comes to recruiting there are several cases that this has been true.

Then why did you say 15?

And from this you think Saban bought him a car or paid him money? Was he speaking in code?

Because posters on this board are so reliable with their information? I mean, you said Alabama had 15 straight #1 classes.

I thought it was. That's why I tried to give an honest answer.

All you need is to hit on one. If y'all can develop one QB it will open the flood gates to more.

But wasn't Brennan and Narcisse highly rated QB's, too?
And you had Feliepe Franks at one time, too....so it's not like you guys aren't getting quality prospects. It's only a matter of time before one hits and gets the whole perception turned around.

Same reason 5* QB's keep going to Alabama?

Not a great example. The last 6 years Bama has had 4 top QBs transfer.

You completely missed the point and actually reinforced the statement.
They play with only 1 football, so that means that somebody's gonna have to sit. If they get tired of not being #1 (again, there's only ONE #1, right?), they transfer. The point is that they keep on coming to Alabama........see?

And a whole lot more where this has been proven false. Come on, man.

I know you guys wanted him, but you are set up nicely with some good QB's, too.

Yeah, why try and develop your skills in college?

Maybe this has been LSU’s problem with QB’s over the last few years. Just hope they’re good enough before getting to Baton Rouge.

...Justin Fields stopped looking at depth charts and said "I’m just going to go where I want to go,” his father Ivant Fields said...

More than any other position the QB's tend to worry to much about depth chart, etc...if you can play you'll see the field. If you can't it will get exposed regardless of whether its in practice or in a game.

I like the kids who don't care about competition myself.
