Gus should have taken the Vandy job when it was offered. That would have been perfect for him, since his offense is all about winning with less. His strategy is wasted at Auburn and it's like trying to fix something that's not broken.

Gus has accomplished as much in 2 seasons at Auburn as all but four other coaches in the SEC have accomplished in their lives. Yet, he would have been better off at Vandy. arkie logic?

I thought he was only staying in college so he can immediately take the Arky job when Bert gets fired?

He can lose games at Auburn and never get blamed for it - always someone else's problem.

I can promise you this......I have never heard him blame the Auburn fanbase for a loss.

The funniest thing....that HS coach has had Auburn in places that Arky fans can't even begin to grasp.

He'll be back to being an OC in less than 3 years.

People said the same thing in 2013 when he was hired. So technically it is 1 year.

Maybe saban needs to call in some high school d coordinators to show him how to slow down Gus's high school offense. What happened to y'all's secondary the last two years I always have heard saban is the best defensive mind out there and is suppose to be the db guru

Yeah, it has to suck making several million a year being a head coach in the SEC. He has to be afraid right?

And yet he has been able to more than double Arkansas' offensive output in 2 consecutive seasons as Auburn's head coach...

35-17
45-21

Arkansas fricked
