USC with their QB is better than Bama or Ole Miss.

true, but that was a long time ago...

So was Ole Miss’ loss to Kentucky. Should it not matter?

Because South Carolina only has 2 legitimate losses so unfair to compare them to Bama and Ole Miss who have 3 legitimate losses.

Ole Miss has an AWFUL loss to a 1-SEC win Kentucky team at home. Bama lost by 3 touchdowns to OU who only has 2-SEC wins. All of South Carolina losses came to teams with at least 4-SEC wins. Not even comparable.

As I said in another thread. Alabama and Ole Miss don't deserve it. I believe that SC does.

Ole Miss and Bama both beat SC head to head. I totally get their argument. If they chose Bama or Ole Miss over SC then I wouldn't be that mad. We had our chances to beat LSU or Bama earlier in the year.

Yall did beat LSU. I dont care what the official score was. South Carolina won that game when the pick 6 happened, and there was zero chance LSU could win after that. But the touchdown was negated because of one of the worst officiating calls Ive ever seen.

I know it wouldnt happen, but USC should sue or do whatever is in their power to get that result overturned before selection Sunday.

South Carolina is riding a 5 game win streak...beating Clemson will make it 6...that should mean something.

And I full appreciate the Ole Miss football program. I won't be surprised if Ole Miss gets picked over South Carolina if it comes down to those two for a spot.

I think this is the key to it all. Ole Miss doesn't have a quality OOC win that Clemson *would* be assuming an SC victory - which is far from assured. Beating a team in the top 15, which Clemson would be, on the final weekend would allow SC to make a bigger play up the board than Ole Miss could against State, or Bama could against Auburn.

Anyone who watched that game knows the Cocks were robbed.

Robbed because 2 legitimate penalties that are called all day every Saturday were called?

The only problem with this argument is that same Clemson team was demolished by a UGA team that lost to both Bama and Ole Miss.

I think there are just too many variables going against USCe to get in a playoff over Bama or Ole Miss, if they all have same record.

Also, better wins should be worth way more than "better" losses.

Bama and Ole Miss both have 2 wins better than any 1 of USCe's wins.

I think that the UGA/Clemson game was so long ago, no one cares about it...same as the ND loss to No. Illinois...it's like it never happened.

I think winning on the road at A&M (and that Notre Dame only has 1 loss) has negated that Northern Illinois loss at this point, but if Notre Dame were to lose at USCw, this weekend, I think it would rear its ugly head again.

and let's be honest. SC beat LSU. Everyone knows that call was total BS.

I used to not think so, but since the LSU Fan draft my opinions have changed. Go Cocks!

That being said, I think we get left out. 9-3 with a win over Clemson would be a fantastic season, though.

Amen to this right here. Definitely a good outlook to have
