Since then we've increased capacity and enclosed the entire stadium.
So has LSU, which is ahead of aTm on that list.
Nice try.

I want to go to an A&M fan not on thanksgiving. I feel like I will never really be able to appreciate it.
I went last year for the LSU game, and I'll admit that the stadium wasn't enclosed completely at the time nor was the game a huge matchup. That being said there were still over 90,000 there and I felt like I could get legitimately get some studying done. I blame it entirely on the fact that its thanksgiving. There was a very noticeable lack of intoxication in the stadium. That place should have been so loud, but I felt like it was family day at Kyle Field.

Because home field advantage is extremely overrated. All that matters is how good the two teams are.
You can just get right the frick on outta here with logical posts like this, sir

Every day is family day at Kyle Field.
We are a family friendly environment

That was becuase that grand old gentleman of college football Bear Bryant's contract guaranteed him part of the gate. In case he was stuck in College Station he signed up the schedule to play big venues in places like Baton Rouge, Michigan and Rice Stadium, etc. Damn the football or the kids this is about money.

And that's cool. Just saying LSU had a lot less opportunities to win in college station yall did in Baton Rouge. The game has been in college station 11 out of 53 games

Where were your seats?

5 rows from the field. Right in front of the TDs by both Buga and Speedy

That is normal for us except when we play at Jerryworld.

It kinda was. When Thanksgiving is a game day for so long you learn to build family traditions around it.

That's actually typical.
Seeing the opposite (intoxicated fans) would've been unusual--Thanksgiving or otherwise.

This will come off as elitist, but the lack of intoxication will probably always be there. A&M still doesn't have a large T-shirt fanbase like Texas, LSU, Bama, etc.

Definitely noticed that. Tailgating was fun and many A&M fans invited us over to have Thanksgiving food with them. I felt like that my fellow LSU fans and the A&M fans we were with were some of the only people trying to get drunk

That's kind of our tailgating culture in general, too.

Personally I pound beers like crazy when I go to a game because my wife is a solid DD, but most people do not.

Also helps if you win a large majority of your home games. Just sayin

It wasn't that intimidating for Big 12 teams either. A lot of teams from that conference won there also.
