This. He looks a lot thicker now than when he was in college and looks slower and less flexible/ agile as a result. He was such a beast in HS and college that the normal bulking up/ weight that people go through after college and in their early 20s has hurt him.
This. And poor vision. Deadly combo for a running back.

Did he exhaust Lacy dumbazz0 ?
Because of what I said in 2011, Lacy is better because he has balance and vision, TR3 is brute force, but that only works in the NFL if you have a great offensive line.

He's not running against cupcake schedules and doesn't get the chance to rack up garbage yards in the 4th.

I can sum up the book you wrote much more succinctly:TR flat out sucks. No running scheme in the history of the NFL would make him into even an average NFL RB. He is simply pathetic.

He's helped me out quite a bit this year at times. Good waiver wire backup when the time is needed.
I'll likely be picking him up again this week with Bradshaw hurt.
No running back is going to give you good points only getting 7 carries a game. I think fantasy value of most RB's has plummeted in recent years due to all the changes that have helped the passing game. Such a rarity anymore to get a team that sticks to 1 back and uses them to handle the workload.
Getting those extra carries has worked wonders for Mark Ingram. Who until this year was also considered a huge bust. Ingram literally saved my fantasy team as I had both Ray Rice and AP on my team. Picked up Ingram off the waiver wire and haven't looked back. And my 2nd RB has been a combination of West, Richardson and Vereen. Richardson is much more valuable when Bradshaw is hurt.

Same reason as all the other bama players.

In college, he pretty much got by on pure athleticism and strength. His vision was always poor, but he was able to make spectacular plays from time to time because he was just a freak.
In the pro's, everyone is a freak. Without vision, you're just another back, maybe even a sub-par back.
He'll continue to struggle unless he gets behind a line that just opens holes so big he can run straight through them.

Can't get free clothing - he's exhausted from looking through catalogs

When you average 4 yards before contact in college it hides your deficiencies as a runner

You joke about Eddie Lacy being terrible, but he really hasn't been that great this year himself. Averaging about 4.2 yards per carry. Not exactly hall of fame numbers

You're an idiot. Check his receiving stats. He has been a beast.

1) because he is running on NFL defenders
2) He was playing behind the best OL in college ball and was playing against college defenders
He has to grow up some in the mental dept of the game and he will be fine
