If the gumps ever lost two in a row to Tennessee they would cry and the SEC would finally do the right thing and go to a rotating schedule

It's pathetic how little history so many fans of teams in the conference have knowledge of.

Oh nice. Now with the personal attacks and bullshite stereotypes. As slow as Georgians talk, it probably took you 10 minutes to type that. Maybe Kirby will break the record for head coach with the most championship game losses.

Football has changed. When Tennessee was good they recruited nationally because there wasn’t enough division 1 talent in Tennessee . Nebraska was the same way .

Nebraska also was able to get guys qualified in the Big 8 that the Big 12 would not let them qualify and the Big 10 sure as hell isn't.

Talent in Tennessee is getting better with the growth of Nashville. Of course, Tennessee has been irrelevant for most of the recruits lives to this point so they still have to work to get those guys to come.

And it's important because the two teams have played yearly since 1928, save for 1943 due to WW2. The only team Alabama has played more often is Mississippi State.

Keep in mind this pathetic pos post and poster's rivalry game is with Georgia freaking Tech. A private like, technical trade (engineering) outfight that calls itself an "institute" and sits cramped on the edge of a massive interstate highway. Hike your leg little puppy and go pee on someone else and try to tell them it's raining.

Georgia Tech is not a private school. GT and UGA are both part of the University System of Georgia. It's currently the highest ranked public university located in the southeast according to the latest US News rankings (#5 public university in the US).

Well excuse the hell out of me. I meant to say a private "like" school so I fixed it for you. Nothing in your post changes the fact that Tech is like having a weaker Vandy for your rivalry game. Then taking after someone else who plays a big time state university who has won a natty in the modern era while the dawgs just bark.

The one most important program in the conference will continue to dictate the scheduling. You’ll just have to deal with it sorry

You guys haven't been a conference factor for 20 years.

I just find it humorous that a fan of a team with no more BCS/playoff era national titles than Vandy, MSU, OM, Arkansas, UK, and Missouri wants to criticize UA for playing UT annually when the East has been a joke the past decade. Watching LSU absolutely dominate them was proof.

I think they build it up as their main rivalry to spite Auburn.

Yep. This all started when Auburn was winning the IB every year. I'd hear Bama fans say they didn't care about beating Auburn. It was all about UT.

wasnt there a bout a 50 year gap that AU and UA didnt play each other. Most young folks under 60 consider AU its biggest rival. the older crowd considers UT.
