Maybe it’s the parity and college has more surprises that make it more intriguing.

But as I watch Washington and Tennessee..

Ron Rivera is coaching Washington? How many failed gigs has that guy had? Why does the NFL just cycle through retreads constantly?

The offense for both teams is like that of something from the 1970s.

The NFL is remarkably boring. I don’t understand how but it’s not the same sport as a college football Saturday.

NFL playoffs are better than anything college can compete with though. I’ll tell you right now that Bama, UGA, or Ohio State will win it all. You can’t do that with the NFL right now.

NFL is objectively a higher level of play so there is less excitement (or bad football). college there's usually only a handful of games that aren't complete chalk every week, where in the NFL unless a team is a complete dumpster fire they always have a chance of winning. just look at the colts beating the chiefs the other week. for every mike leach/kiffin memefest where there's trick plays and they go for it every 4th down, there's a dozen snoozers where teams slug it out for a half then the team ranked 10 ends up wining by 30 in the second

A better question is, why is it so political?

Less posts about politics and live up to your namesake and post more milfs. Or even cookies.

Because it's not college football.

Perhaps because South Carolina doesn’t play any form of football and this is your outlet to see it

You pick the day after South Carolina beats a top 15 team on the road to post that

The system is designed to reward losers and make it incredibly hard for winners to sustain winning. That has never been the case in college football so we are constantly looking for the upset, the big guys to go down, and it makes it that much more satisfying when it happens.

Too sanitized very little passion relative to big time SEC schools

The NFL is too commercialized for me. It's a sales product and you can tell. College football is passion. It's the game in its best format. That's what makes it better.

This was meant to be a non-triggering thread.

But yes. Congrats on your win over a team with the #1 overall NFL draft pick missing. Helluva game.

I would say it has some boring games, but if you watch the top teams play each other, it very rarely is. Kind of like watching SEC conference games over other conference games.

This times a thousand. Other than KC, there isn't one innovative offense in the NFL. It helps to have Patrick Mahomes, but even other teams with top QB's run the same pro set offense that puts a priority on risk management.

Depends on perspective

I’ve always preferred the NFL

They are not the same sport and anyone expecting them to be the exact same will be disappointed.

You want to watch a postseason game on a frozen tundra in January with a trip to the SB on the line in front of 80,000 home fans? Go watch NFL

You want to watch 100,000 screaming fans on a Thursday night watching a game between two 100 year old (records be darn’d) rivals? CFB is for you

All I did was say I enjoy the NFL and you came with gloves off and you call me triggered

Guess Kentucky is the only team that has injuries.
