These games tv schedule isn't set on August. But Tennessee and Missouri is going to be a terrible game for CBS. Amy announced reason for the Bad scheduling?

LSU/Florida was ESPN's pick. They got to choose first.

It was ESPN's game and CBS would not let them show it at 3 when they wanted to air it.
And since it was determined the game could not be played at night it had to be noon on SEC network since ESPN probably has Big 10 commitments in that time slot so ESPN or ESPN 2 were not options.
Blame Foley, he started this mess.

Why did ESPN chose to put it on the secn at noon? I'm glad it's not conflicting with Bama's cupcake. But that should've been a later game.

Because Florida agreed to pay in Baton Rouge in return as long as the start time is not after 2:30.

No need for an eye roll. I'm legitimately asking a question. The scheduling doesn't make any sense from a ad revenue perspective.

It's a good under card game to the CBS marquee game of UT Mizzou in the afternoon.

ESPN wanted to put it on at 3pm but CBS didn't want it going up against their game. Won't matter. I kind of can't wait to be home before 1am for once this year.

Seriously? I didn't know that. That makes sense if so.
Still surprising about the secn instead of ESPN. But I'll have a roku me on vacation to watch football, do it doesn't matter to me, other than the lack of a DVR.

Had CBS picked this game back in October, then they'd be showing it at 2:30 tomorrow. Since that didn't happen, ESPN maintained the rights and had no choice when to air it and on what channel because of preexisting commitments to other conferences.

Gotcha. Yep, frick CBS.
At least on secn, there won't be as many commercials. But considering I fly out at midnight and arrive in Florida at 5:30 am, I may still be sleeping when the game comes on, which sucks.

Because it is all about Tennessee all the time.

Yes. I suppose next year we get to have the same stipulation right? Florida can't play us at night. But nope, they get to set their gametime for whatever time they want (pending it changing due to tv).

I actually think this was a fla stipulation that they would play at LSU, but not at night.

It was and that's TOTALLY going to save them.

Couple reasons
-Pretty sure ESPN still had the rights to LSU/UF from when they were supposed to play earlier. Probably they relegated it to SECN due to other slots being booked.
-The SEC's contract with CBS dictates that every SEC team must make an appearance at least every other year. Mizzou hasn't made one this year, and I'm not sure they made one last year either.
