Lol and it’s 11 local. I’m sure there’s some kind of history to it. Like they wanted to clear out the pasture quickly so the cow show could start.

That's FOX big game time slot, but it has also been reported that both universities requested it because it kept the shenanigans down the night before. not sure if that part is true but also don't care. I want this game later!

It allows fans to enjoy the Texas State Fair the rest of the day. Which always coincide with this game - it has always been played at thus time.

TV contract. The big boys play in the afternoon and evening. The big12 plays early cause no one is watching, and the pac12 plays, whenever I guess cause no one is watching.
