So that's why Alabama usually is the 1st pick every week, ie CBS.
That's why Saban has been bitching about not getting good times for their games.

So you’re referencing the national championship game and the semifinal game as your evidence for them being a big draw.....

Maybe, just maybe, could it be that the ratings were so high given the circumstances? Lol

Did you actually look at the link? It shows the ratings for every single week last year. Alabama is consistently at the top or near the top every week.

Are you a fricking moron?

Scroll down through his link you idiot. You only looked at the Bowl TV rankings. It's broken down by week as you scroll down.

Goddamn.

Pretty sure they don't want to hit he max slot for Auburn (5)

Auburn CBS games
A&M
Florida
LSU
Georgia
Alabama

State would make 6 and put either Georgia or Alabama in jeopardy of not being a CBS game (like in 2014, but because Alabama hit the limit).

Well Alabama is consistently a top team. When they play anyone with a pulse it will draw numbers because every team wants to knock them off.

How’d bama do in their prime time kickoff game against duke? That game got a 2.8. It was a primtime game, it was not a noon kickoff, and yet it got a 2.8. But the tide always draws big numbers!!!!

the obvious reason is Alabama. Whether you like it or not Bama has the most fans in the SEC, and will draw a national audience.

So you're just going to ignore the fact you completely fricked up in looking at his link and post some drivel about Alabama's game against Duke?

I'd rather be trashy than fricking stupid. You can't fix stupid.

I don't know, but I wish it wasn't. My Rebs don't have a chance, and it would be nice to see us finally get to play at night. Makes little sense.

Alabama is not just the most-watched team in the SEC, but the country. Bama is a huge ratings draw.

I don’t buy that. I never watch Bama games unless it’s a big match up. It’s like watching paint dry.

The only thing his link proved was that LSU-Bama is still the premier regular season SEC game

Last 25 years Alabama has the most games in the top 10 most-watched games.

Every year Alabama has the most in the top 10 most-watched regular season games.

Cruel and unusual punishment for Ole Miss. It will be so embarrassing.
