Emanuel Hall isn’t close to being the best we have ever had.

"You combine that with somebody that -- who'd we beat 51-17 this year? Tennessee? Yeah, those guys. They are non-stop reaching out daily [saying], 'Hey, come here.'"

Who can blame UT for giving it their best shot? A team kicks your arse by nearly 5 TD's, you want to bring on some of the players that brought the whoop arse.

No, I get that. I just don’t understand why Odom went so openly public with it when the SEC has fairly strict unwritten rules about keeping it in the family.

I mean Odom should have called the SEC commish if he has a problem with it.

It’s very reminiscent of what Mizzou’s AD did with regard to false allegations against Dawn Staley and Lady Gamecock basketball fans. And that cost him in court ... made Mizzou look whiney in the process.

I know I bust missourite balls from time to time but, all in all, they’re not bad yankees ... I thought. Yet now we’re starting to see.a pattern. They bitch about everything that doesn’t go their way evidently. I mean sheeeeesh, these guys are not happy campers, not ever.

Coaches meetings in Birmingham are next week, right? All the coaches in the SEC should have an intervention with Odom and that pussy AD they’ve got in CoMo and they should lay the law down.

“Ladies, reach down, pull your skirts up and grab your lady parts and at least act like you’ve got a pair of balls. This constant drama queen act y’all keep perpetrating on the rest of the conference in CoMo is getting old.”

Mizzou is now, without a doubt, the Drama Queen bitch of the conference. It’s official.

I would love to see a coach tell Odom he doesn’t have balls. Not saying he could whip every other coaches arse, but I can guarantee he isn’t backing down from a fight.

Does Missouri have any good players that anyone would want?

Well, it is understandable he's upset. His team just became an all you can eat buffet. That is never something you want to have happen on your watch.

Playing by the unwritten rules hasn't gotten Mizzou a whole lot. My guess is he talked to someone at the SEC and they weren't going to do anything, so he decided to throw some shade at UT specifically since Mizzou beat the ever loving crap out of them for the second year in a row and their coaches are apparently ballsy enough to contact Mizzou's guys multiple times per day but not ballsy enough to take Barry's calls. I'm sure he's upset about the other schools who are contacting his guys (Auburn, A&M, Mississippi State and Tennessee) but he singled out one school, and my guess is there's a reason.

They settled; it didn't cost anyone in court. Semantics, I know, but still.

Why the hell shouldnt they? UGA just took a grad transfer happily from Tennessee that was a freaking preferred walk on when he started there. Why did you do that? From what ive heard you needed some depth and he was there, and you guys have been recruiting lights out for several years and needed him. If missouri wouldnt have been cheating they wouldnt be in this mess. It is what it is. Not a big secret Tennessee's roster isnt that talented, we got blew out by freaking vandy and missouri.

Fair enough.

Wellllllll, your AD paid legal fees and issued a formal apology. He fricked up.

But ALL programs have problems with each other and one another at various times ... we just don’t take it public. We keep it in the family.

Every single fan base here can name an issue we know of that wasn’t taken public but was handled internally within the conference.

We ALL have issues with refs and officials. I’m talking about the day to day business stuff.

I know for a fact that Tennessee has attempted to recruit negatively against SC several times over the years including their current and most recent coaches .... and SPURrier and mUSCchamp both took it to BHam and it was handled.

Why can’t Mizzou do it that way? I seriously doubt Odom went to BHam. It reads more like he just popped his top and went-off to the press.

Surfing around on the web a bit, apparently Odom believes Arkansas and Ole Miss want a couple of WRs and RBs and Auburn is still trying to convince Bryant to defect now that the bowl probation is in effect and he can leave.

Can you link me? I haven't heard anything about Arkansas having any interest. One of the receivers transferred from Arkansas, so I seriously doubt we're interested in having him back. I don't even see a RB on that list.

The Arkansas stuff was a mistake; one of our Curators (basically board members/trustees) said Arkansas, but at least the last time any of our journalists talked to the compliance staff, Arkansas hadn't contacted any of Mizzou's guys (which was after the Curators' press conference). Just the three from the West that were mentioned and UT.

Emmanuel Hall isn’t in our top 5 best WRs ever. Probably not even top 10.

If someone doesn’t return phone calls, there’s no need to not speak about it in public. If you want to handle it “as a family,” return a phone call. Act like a bitch, get treated like a bitch.

He was our best receiver this year. He’s not an “all-time great.”

Oh I was just going within the guys on the team last year not all time. Understandable.
