I agree the ACC is the best conference. But a 7-7 record with a road game against UNC on deck hardly qualifies as "great".

This is true. It’s especially true when SEC refs call the game, which is the primary reason Clemson advanced.
I feel your pain. We all (er, at least most of us here in the SEC) know how it feels to have those scoundrels decide the outcome of a game.
