Any other proud program like ours that has struggled as ours has would be excited and
yes confident with such a turnaround. Now can
we sustain it? Who knows. We can now feel that
the worst is over and the sky is the limit next year and the next.

LSU is coming together right now. get the bye week to heal up some bumps and bruises and get after a team that is coming into BR with a QB who has never played in a stadium like it

I definitely believe LSU can win, but not guaranteeing victory or anything.
Since Auburn loss, several things have happened:
1. We changed our defensive personnel in the middle of our defense. Kendell Beckwith became our MLB and he's in another atmosphere in terms of talent compared to who he replaced. Knowledge of the play book was the reason he didn't start at the beginning of the year
2. The offensive line has settled, got fully healthy, and is playing close to its full potential
3. Defensive play calling and aggressiveness has done a 180. We are getting tons of pressure and disguising our looks much better.
4. I think Alabama's CBs can be beat. Jennings is not a world beater at QB but he can throw the long ball when he has time. I think Tony Brown is a bit too aggressive at times and I'd go after him if I were Les/Cam. He'll be a good one, but he's still a True Freshman. If the game is close and pressure filled, I predict he'll struggle.
Just my opinion

Bama defense is different, which is good and bad for LSU.
I don't think LSU will run at Bama's traditional 3-4 defense like it did vs. Ole Miss' 4-2-5. Different schemes and philosophies.
I can see LSU trying to run around and off tackles a bit more.
Ole Miss's secondary and pass defense was better to stop LSU's pass offense, which LSU does have. I like the match-ups with LSU WRs vs Bama's pass defense. Unless Bama blitzes, I don't think they will get to Jennings much. I can see him doing the JJ...look at two WR patterns and then running.
LSU defense vs Bama's offense. Not sure there. If we block off your best WR (like Ark and someone else did..forgot), then it will force Bama to change up a bit. LSU vs running QBs is scary.
But, LSU defense has changed...A LOT and those boys are playing really good.
Home game. Has not been a factored in the last few match-ups, but I believe it will this time.
LSU has momentum and nothing to lose. Bama has not played will on the road this year and no margin for error.
Injuries favor LSU.
Many factors call it a lean to LSU atm.

Rankings say differently, too.

Anyway, Bama did well, at Tennessee.
Looking forward to a good game, in two weeks. But this is gonna be a great weekend in the SEC, as well. Can't wait.

O-line along with our RBs (mainly Fournette) seem to be gelling. Passing game is lacking but the playmakers are there. If Jennings could learn to look off receivers or go through his progressions, it might actually be pretty good... But we aren't there yet. Jennings is a placeholder for Harris who won't start until next year unless aj gets injured.
Defense is vastly improved (middle was our weak spot) with the insertion of Beckwith as a starter and Jamal Adams getting real playing time.
Take Internet homers with a grain of salt but most LSU fans I know are hesitantly optimistic. As fans, we are watching a young team grow into its own, and they've shown a lot of heart this year picking themselves up off the ground from two early knockouts.
Bama is walking into a dangerous situation, but it's Bama, so you shouldn't be all that nervous.
If we don't get y'all this year, we'll get you next year.

Hell we missed a 21 yard field goal and had 4 turnovers and started 4 drives inside the 5 and still beat Ole Miss. If you would have told me those stats before the game i would say we wouldn't beat anyone. Bc of those stats i agree that Ole Miss isn't a great team. I think Auburn will get them just because Bo will be a yard. Miss State will beat them handily.

Saban just hasn't been good in November. 7-5 against FBS in this decade.
2 losses to Auburn
2 losses to LSU
1 loss to TAMU
Miles sports a 12-3 record in the same timeframe.

But my point is they got slaughtered bad on real opponents. And imo ole miss isn't any good and if it wasn't for a few bad calls, the game would've been different. We are better than OM.
A few bad calls???? Lets just forget about LSUs fumble at the goal line, a missed chip shot fg and 4 TOs.
Yall are better than OM yet yall lost?? Get your head out of your arse you idiot.

other than the fact that this young squad is growing up before our eyes and becoming a team to be reckoned with, bama is not the same team on the road. other than against a sub par tennessee team, yall have failed to score more than 20 points in a road game.
did i mention that our defense is straight up nasty nowa days?
