Donate a third of your annual athletic revenue into a pool along with most of the other SEC schools and distribute it such that every school receives identical revenue every year. Until you're willing to agree to that, shut the frick up about "fair". Vanderbilt laughs at your idea of fair.
2: Of the seven straight SEC champions, only on didnt have a top 10 SOS. Stop makng excuses.

I enjoy this game, so you must be speaking to the minority.

Trolling the Tiger Rant?
Is that what you're talking about?
And wasn't Choctaw talking about 'trolling' some shitty 'Bama board?
How is it worthy of ridicule in one case but perfectly understandable in another?

If they ever take Florida off the schedule, I'll be fricking livid. I love when Florida comes to BR always an electric weekend.

you've probably seen 5 LSU fans on here say this on a LSU-dominated site, and I'm willing to bet you took that of context. No one is afraid to play UF. You probably don't even go to the LSU-UF game anyways. There's more UF fans in this thread than there were at the Sugar Bowl.

I love the LSU vs UF game. Bama game has meant more the past few years, but my favorite game of the year is UF LSU game.

my first game in Tiger Stadium as a kid was LSU/UF...

We've seen threads about LSU fans bitching about playing UF every year...more out of anger at their schedule compared to Bama's. Whether or not your memory of those threads is good is beside the point since the other fans in this thread can attest to their existence.

i mean i actually like this game every year and i thought the lsu ppl like it too, but they'd rather cower in the corner.
simple math.....when you are battling with another top team in your own division, it certainly hurts your chances when you play a team very capable of beating you and the other plays a team they would beat 10/10 times. Simple odds....math. I enjoy the game, I really do.....but obviously the chances of LSU losing are much more significant playing ga and fl, than say ky and tn.........

It's a good game annually, it's just that the SEC scheduling model is outdated ... I don't mind the cross-division games if we base division standings on division records and/or start a full east rotation.
How anyone can think Ole miss getting Vanderbilt while auburn gets Georgia and LSU gets Florida is a fair way to schedule is beyond me. There really no defense to it, it's a fact that those matchups are unequal.
Smart people need to think of a way to integrate the two main permanent rivalries that are holding up SEC scheduling reform with a more equitable long-term scheduling model.

So if Vanderbilt was LSU's permanent opponent, you believe that Miles would campaign to get rid of Vanderbilt?
point missed
Its not about picking a team to get rid of. Its about making the schedules as equal as possible. Like a previous poster stated, the current model is outdated

I love the rivalry but the shite is unfair. Bama and Georgia each year play shite schedules and backdoor into the SEC championship game. If Bama and UGA would have played each other in the regular season like they were supposed to, one of them would have been sitting at home for the SECCG.
UF played 5 top 12 teams, went 4-1, while Bama and UGA played only 2 and went 1-1 in the regular season. Why the fuk should either of those teams go to the championship game?
I think the SEC should look at either getting rid of divisions or only count games played in the divisions. How can Bama avoid the top teams in the east for 3 years straight? It has nothing to do with being scared. That's bullshite. Bama's schedule last year was pathetic.
