We were never not the Rebels. That never changed.

And FYI - our drum cadence is still Dixie. People just don't know it.

The song has origins predating the civil war.

Georgia’s fight song is “Hail to Georgia” you dumbass. It begins with the words “Hail to Georgia down in Dixie”

“Glory Glory” can be traced back to one of UGA’s first games against Georgia Tech in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. An AJC writer wrote “ The Georgia band continues to rake John Brown’s bones”

There’s your answer. Thanks for reminding us why Mississippi ranks near the bottom, if not dead last, in education.

Is this the same Sherman guy ? .....In 1859, Sherman accepted a job as the first superintendent of the Louisiana State Seminary of Learning & Military Academy.

Wow... he also married his sister.

Maybe Sherman was just all confused and so are the Georgia folks ?
