Is it because he's bad? Maybe. Is it because he didn't like Florida at all? Possibly.
Is it because Mullen really knows QBs, and probably, most likely talks to Urban actively and found out he was a pass? For me, it's the most likely.
That being said, I wanted him at Florida, and I think he could have contributed. We'll see if this was as good of a get as I thought.

That part is just nonsense and untrue. He wants to play somewhere where he can be the unanimous starter and not share snaps, not because he's second/third string.
Who could blame him? No one wants to play looking over their shoulder every down with a locker room divided between QBs (Happened at Florida with Driskel and Harris). It's a great decision so he can play immediately, go to prestigious school and be the unquestioned leader of the team.

Got injured and Urban wanted a dual threat QB. Hard to work your way back up when you get hurt and your coach has eyes on someone else already.
