Keep telling yourself Bama's secondary isn't any good. This isn't 2014 and the DB's are much improved. Speaking of 2014, Bama beat a much more talented State team with a much weaker secondary. With that said, Dak is a very good player and Wilson is an excellent receiver but Bama will be ready.

This team is better now than at this time last year. Defense is way better.

Not a dream - it's reality.

State will win this game and it will be a shock to everyone. Especially Bama fans who think they are entitled to another championship.

Let's listen closely to the post game interview with Saban.

When we hear the "Beat ourselves" excuse followed by "We didn't prepare well enough for our opponent", I will bump this thread to let you all know I was right.

I'm only going by collegiate QBs using your criteria as "best in the country" because we obviously don't have any data on them at the next level. Going up against Bama, the QB position may be the only advantage the Dogs have.,

(1) Trevone Boykin
(2) Kessler

I just caught that omission. My fault

Clearly the 170YPG your defense is giving up rushing is a reason for such optimism.

For an account that's nine years old and having only 335 posts, we should be honored that you've decided to shoot your wad on us in this thread.

Thank you for properly redirecting Bama's focus on the business at hand.

"I don't doubt that State can move the ball on Alabama. They don't run the ball unless it's Dak, and their short passing game with big receivers is hard to stop.

I don't know if they can stop Alabama enough, though. They have a decent defense, but not a good one.

Coker will likely have to play a poor game in order for State to win. He looked solid on the road against both Georgia and aTm, but Henry was fantastic in both of those games, and Georgia/aTm turned the ball over a zillion times.

I seriously doubt State has multiple turnovers, just because Dak has been so accurate and turnover free this season. However, can State stop the run? 68th this season in rushing defense. They might have to sell out against the run, and just hope Coker makes some mistakes.

I think State beats Alabama 2 out of 10 times in Starkville. We'll see if this Saturday is one of the two."

Pretty much

Given the OPs posts, it seems State is overlooking Bama.

I worry the most about losing to the 2nd tier SEC teams every year anyways, but I'm just one guy and a fan.
