That pretty much sums it up.
We want to win every game. We want to win championships just like everyone else. But we DO NOT want to be like bama.
Most folks in Alabama have a choice of which team to be a fan of. You can see which ones choose bama. Just look around.
The lil bro name might be there but when one of these obnoxious fans comes up to me and yells row tahd, I feel anything but small. I feel vastly superior!

This is just a "in good fun" thing for recruits. Plus, it was the play, not necessarily the team we were playing, that is the point of this. Had the Kick Six not occurred and we just beat you in overtime, the cut-out would be of the UGA game. Its not simply because we were playing Alabama. if there's any divide it's more a prestige thing than anything else - Auburn doesn't have bad results on the field but lacked SEC titles and marquee seasons - the 80s really helped out in this regard
Alabama just has more national recognition and Auburn just happens to exist in the same state so the perception is less than the reality but it's the there

Yes, Au might be our "lil bro" but only bc UA is one of those few places where you can win big. Otherwise, Au is just as dominant as any of the other big name in the conference.
