We could all ask the same for Georgia...Especially with being in that talented of a state for players with no competition in state. I love how cocky the doggos are now. All it will take is another loss to an inferior opponent and they'll be right back into melt mode.

I moved to SC from Louisiana in 1999. I'd always coached Dixie Youth so once I got settled, I began coaching again. Our league was small but had 4 teams in the age group coached. It took me about 2 practices to see a difference in the sports culture between Louisiana and SC.
The parents simply weren't as willing to make the sacrifices to move the league to the next level in terms of post season play.
I attend a lot of HS football here as well. It's just not the same. There are some wonderful athletes here, but the coaching and culture are totally different than what I've seen in other southern states.
And BTW...I like USCe. I always pull for them unless they're playing LSU.
And one more thing.....while UGA is certainly a top tier football program, they have always underachieved given the resources and talent they've collected. When a school like LSU wins National Championships and UGA can't in a weak eastern division, you have to wonder WTH?

Odd considering there isn't a program that has wasted more NFL talent the last 30 years than Georgia.
Every school around you has managed to win a National Championship since your last one. Some of those schools multiple times.

I think the subject is twofold:
Everyone knows South Carolina is a school of little winning tradition.
These programs have won a NC since 1980 which was your only National Championship (Notre Dame was the NC in 1946)
Clemson (twice)
Alabama (6 times)
Auburn
Florida State (3 times)
Florida (3 times)
LSU (twice)
Georgia Tech
Tennessee
7 of those teams you play on a pretty regular basis. How are they able to do it and Georgia can't? In conclusion a Georgia fan talking about being 'irrelevant' to anyone is pretty laughable considering how you can't win a big game. There is like 38 years of history showing this.

I've always thought South Carolina was one of the most laid back places in this country. People aren't in a hurry to do much of anything here.
