One in 30 or 40 years or something like that? I don’t get it…I know full well why my school don’t win, but Ohio State??? All things considered, they are underwhelming year after year…

They have 2 national titles since 2000. They have only had 4 non 10 win seasons since 2000 not including Covid year. They would probably be the best program besides LSU if we weren’t currently in era of the greatest college football dynasty of all time with Saban at Alabama.

Also, frick Ohio State.

I will say they are relevant but I agree with you on the 1 national title. But, I would say it’s 1 Natty in the last 52 years. I say that because Miami got robbed in the ‘02 title game by a legendarily BAD PI call in the end zone at the end of that game.

They are up there with Notre Dame & Texas for my most despised CFB teams.

It’s the same reason that Oklahoma has not won more to me. Both have had the players and coaches.

What they have lacked is the week to week competition that hardens the sword. They play two or three really tough games a year. The SEC and I think even ACC have more teams that make you play hard every week against tougher defenses.

Texas does produce some dang good WR’s & QB’s and lots of athletes that have been defending 7 on 7 drills but the game starts in the trenches.

It’s not that don’t have good players or even coaches, it’s that they play the game differently but that is changing.

The Big ten is getting better and now Ok is coming to the SEC.

They suck, plus the Midwestern athlete can't compete with southern athletes, but they are now trying to have a team of 80% southerners so they can keep up.

They don't play tough teams week to week like the SEC.

The SEC schedule toughens teams up when they get to the playoffs.

I mean they’ve won 2 titles between 2000-2020 and played for one in 2006, 2007 and 2020. They played for 25% of the championships in a 2 decade period along with many playoff appearances. I don’t think they’ve underachieved at all.

Some of y’all are totally mindfricked with what “success” is due to Alabama’s current run.

Mojo, did you hibernate during the CWS finals? Think before you post.
