Question Scrooster. Have the cocks EVER had a head coach hired by another team or is it a graveyard position that we all know it is. I’ll give you time to look it up but I already know the answer.

Saban has that "process" going and other programs want it and think they might get it by hiring his coaches. Kirby's success at UGA probably encourages them that it's possible. If Clemson keeps winning at this clip, it'll happen there too. I think FSU will eventually be a contender again in that conference. Maybe Miami.
edit to say that Jimbo Fisher is another Saban protege that has done well

That's not exactly the hardest thing in the world to do....

But it’s not like they’re leaving for easier jobs.
They’re almost all going and becoming HCs somewhere.

Please read that back to yourself loud so you can hear how truly stupid you sound. Come back with something significant when you can avoid getting blasted by a mid-to-low tier ACC team in UVa....In the meantime, continue to live vicariously through the success of Alabama

It was a farce though Clemson sucked on offense. It was easily the worst offense they had in the last 5 years. They scored 6 andb14 points against the only good defenses they faced all year.
Auburn exposed them early in the year and Bama finished them off with 188 total yards and 6 points.
Elliott isn't getting any jobs with those performances. I didn't even know he won the Broyles last year. What a dud.

Does Chad Morris not count?

If they could just have the morals of Bruce Pearl.

No one will hire Clemson assistants because everyone knows its all Dabo's brilliant micro managing and controlling every aspect of the program that gets them wins. He is probably the most intelligent man on earth.

Because nobody can match that sweet sweet NewSpring money.

Bowden at FSU had pretty much the same. Loyal assistants that were happy. Richt left for UGA and Amato for NC State. He also had a couple leave for SC lite. Amazing how he kept those good coaches there in their hay day!

Morris was hired away. Elliot/Scott have been mentioned but they are still pretty young/green.
Venables has been pursued by some B level programs, but is content to get paid $2 million a year to be a D coordinator and have his son play for him. That may change once his son graduates.
Dabo also doesn't treat his assistants like Saban does. And if you are an Alabama assistant, you are a hotter commodity because you had a front row seat to the greatest CFB coach of all time.

The Auburn game was Bryant's first game as a starter against P5 competition, and CLemson went conservative with the lead because Auburn couldn't protect their QB. Took 11 sacks.
btw, Bama lost to that Auburn team badly and in the BCS era does not make the title game.
it is kind of crazy when a Vanderbilt sidewalk fan is trying to make CLemson's team last year out as trash on here because they lost to an Alabama team stacked with NFL talent. lol
you wish Vanderbilt had Clemson's offense last year dbag.
