Venables and Elliot are both very good coordinators and have been at Clemson for quite a while. Surprised they haven’t been poached by someone by now.

Sometimes people are just happy where they're at...But eventually some will leave. I just read earlier that Elliot would've been interested in the Georgia Tech job if he had been contacted. I don't like to think about any of them leaving though

Bama didn't really start losing coaches like crazy until the last few years. After all, Kirby was at Bama for nine seasons.

Kirby hung around forever. Our O-coordinators were getting "mutually decision'd"

Yea Dawgy49 nailed it. Saban works the piss outta his assistant coaches. Most all the wives complain about never seeing their husbands. But Saban leads from the front in that regard because he works hard too.

Venables is a life long coordinator. He doesn't have the ambition to be a head coach. Elliott isn't a hot name and is never up for any major awards.

Alabama assistants are top recruiters and win Broyles awards. Those guys always become head coaches.

Because even though saban is the best,no coach wants to be talked to like a little bitch on the sidelines.kirby stayed longer because he was saban's bitch

Coaches at Bama know that they will never get credit for their coaching because of the talent that anyone could win with and leave at the first chance to prove they are good coaches.

Because Nick Saban is an a-hole who nobody wants to work for. He wins.... but there is your reason.

It's because they are mostly tainted and no one with morals will hire them. So they either go stay there and get paid for doing nothing or sit at home for nothing til someone decides they've served their time and hires them. That's a hard choice.

It is a balance between family and football for them. It is just football with Saban.

After you get fired, you look for a way to clean up your resume. Saban lets them be seen on the sideline and it keeps their name in front of everyone.

Clemson hires sheep humping sister bangers .... and when they get to Clemson they find their sheep humping sister banging paradise.

They can get away with literally anything ... and they do.

Uh, Elliott won the Broyles award last year. That’s for the top assistant coach in college football. So I guess

It's gotta be hard working under Saban.
Stooping all day is bad for the lower back.
