Then your going to have lawsuits to get out of NLI when the HC they signed with in August is fired in November.

Because we are Merica!

Nobody in the sports world hold true to their CONTRACTS.

I always thought a contract was binding, but they are useless.

So, I could see tons of kids signing early and whining and bitching that they didn't mean to, were coerced or are having buyers remorse. I like the 1 early signing period.

If I were a team and offered a kid a scholarship, the deal would be that it is only conditional until the first signing period. If they signed, then they are in. If they want to wait until Feb., as a school, it would give me the opportunity to figure out what I have and what I need and would re-offer based on new needs. If that position or person wasn't worth the ship, it could go to someone else or other position.

And 17 yr old is held to s student loan contract.

If 17, doesn't a parent also have to sign NOI? Or does parent have to sign all the way to 21?

I would imagine. A 17 year old is a minor and would need parental consent.

Idk about 21, but I'm sure that parent is attached for legal reasons until a contract stipulates when it ends or that person is released
