Alabama either produces obvious super talent or diamonds in the rough.

Alabama produces more bball talent than say Kentucky does.

nearly half of Arkansas' players hail from Arkansas

Because Arkansas has a very good AAU basketball program.

No insecurity. Just curious. It doesn't make sense for someone who claims to not be a fan to be in basketball threads all day. Seems you are confused.

i can reason with that. Since the end of Wimp's reign I have been disinterested, now there is excitement and the fever hits.

Why does the L1U fanbase (especially on this site) feature so few L1U grads?

No troll, serious question.

Well I hope you figure out what sports you truly enjoy one day. Maybe you'll even find one your school (sidewalk) is actually good at.

yet the #1 PG in America is from Alabama.

That doesn’t really change the fact that Alabama isn’t a basketball state. JD is elite, but then after him the gap is huge. The next best player is a 3* and 247 only has 3 players from the state even ranked in the 2021 class.

Hard to argue “Alabama is not a basketball State” given Auburn has recently made the final 4 and Alabama might very well make it there this year. Name another SEC State that has put 2 teams in the Final Four in recent memory?

Earlier today I did little research on nba talent, and I learned Alabama(state) ranks 22nd in producing nba talent. We are the 24th state by population. So I determined we are basically average, maybe slightly above average. Louisiana comes in at a remarkable 4th, Texas 6th, Florida 9th, Georgia 13th, South Carolina 14th, Mississippi 16th, Arkansas 20th, Kentucky 21, Tennessee 24th, Missouri 28th. According to this "Bleacher Report" article I found.

Alabama and LSU each have 3 signees for next season. Alabama has one in state and two from Georgia (although one is originally from Pennsylvania). LSU's are from Tennessee, Florida, and California via Virginia. Why don't kids from Louisiana or their neighbors want to play the the Pear?
