They've won 2 SECE titles yet are unable to do better than 12th in the SEC. Meanwhile TAMU cleans up while having won squat. They have SEC money now so that isn't a good reason. Columbia must be a dump then. I'd be an alcoholic if I had to call that place home.

Missouri isn't exactly known for producing top HS football players.

Pinkel just gets 3 star players from Chicago & St Louis areas and develops them...I swear he pulls All SEC DL out of his azz. He will take a 4th string 220 lb TE and next thing you know he has 12 sacks

We produce some talented HS players just not enough. DGB and Sheldon Richardson to name a few recent ones. Also our coaches recruit to their system first and foremost.

Obviously, you've never actually been to Columbia. CoMo has it going on.

This is correct; Mizzou only produces NFL players (I know what you were referring to though)

Their defense is going to have sex with your offense.

They have to recruit out of state and place is in middle of nowhere

It's a tough sell to an inner city black kid from a big metro area

Mizzou is one of 2 schools in the SEC that currently does not cheat i.e. use bagmen. The other is Vandy.

Hence the far fewer 4 and 5 star signings from outside our region than most sec schools.

However, Pinkel's staff's ability to play "Moneyball" in recruiting and find 2 and 3 stars it can develop into players as good or better than your 4 and 5 stars is of course well documented. You have to wait awhile to figure out if a Mizzou recruit stinks or not.

When a 2 or 3 star kid winds up becoming an SEC defensive player of the year and NFL draft pick like ours have been doing recently, it's hard to say our decision to recruit him stunk. On the contrary, at that point one could say that the schools in texas or florida or wherever who let that recruit get away, and the bagmen who didn't think he was worth throwing some dollars at, are the ones who stink at recruiting.

We mainly do it so when we beat SEC teams they become suicidal and fire their coaches. the instability makes it easy for us to keep dominating the east.
