Amazing.....The two teams with the most SEC Bye week opponents the past 7 years (Bama 23, LSU 11) debating why they waste their BYE week canceling out the other. While South Carolina has 1 SEC Bye week in the past 7 years and Auburn has 1 in the past 4 years (5 years counting 2014) and 4 in the past 7 years.

Simple answer. Over the last couple of years with the temporary schedule in place, LSU needed a rest to recover from the gauntlet of playing east heavy weights Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Bama not so much with the likes of Kentucky and Tennessee.
2013 Bama and LSU opponents had the same win/loss record 80-73.
2014 Bama plays West Va, Tenn and 3 scrubs
LSU plays Wisc, Ky and 3 scrubs

Me thinks Trey is trolling.
I think this is the part where I'm supposed to post "trollception"

WVU is horrendous this year. When was that game scheduled BTW? Likely can't fault Bama for scheduling them, but that's how it worked out.

Why has Saban lost his last two games of the year twice at Alabama?
Miles has never lost his last two games. As a matter of fact, Miles has only lost two games in a row ONCE - in 2008.

Yeah, sorry bout last year.

Why does LSU need two weeks to prepare for Alabama almost every year?

Miles also has only lost 7 games in Tiger Stadium in 9 years, and only 2 Saturday night games - to #1 Florida in '09 and #1 bama in '12....

LSU had a month off for one of these games and it didn't matter.

At least we represented the SEC well by being #1 in the nation almost every week of the season and won the championship of the conference.
And at least we earned our berth in the BCSNCG.

Alabama earned the right by being the best team in the country. The fact that a majority of people still knew that Bama was better than LSU after 9-6 is very telling, and they were confirmed on 1/9.

Yeah, guess you're right. Like the seven BCS Human Poll voters who DROPPED Oklahoma State to FIFTH OR SIXTH.....""""""after"""""" they crushed Oklahoma to win the Big 12 Championship ????
BTW in the 9-6 game, most of Alabama's yards were gained between their own 10 and midfield. They got into the LSU red zone ONCE, and were pushed out on the next play.
You only had 60 more total yards than LSU, and as afore-mentioned, most of those were gained after LSU punters left you deep in your own territory.
And LSU made alabama look like a pee-wee team in OT.
Saban lobbying at the SECCG for his 3rd place SEC team over Big 12 Champion Oklahoma State was embarrassing, although his crying probably influenced the media and the 7 voters who inexplicably DROPPED Oklahoma State from 3rd or 4th before the Olklahoma game to 5th or 6th afterward....

dear god it's been 2 and a half years. Stop.
The rational Bama fans know they were fortunate to make it into the national title game.
Seriously, as obnoxious as Bama fans were after the game of the century, LSU fans have been almost as bad for the past 2 and a half years. Let. It. Go.
