They spent all that money on recruits to let them play in crappy Adidas gear. Has a team that wears Adidas won a Natty in the past 50 years? Want a winning program wear Nike.

Has Tennessee gotten better since they dropped Adidas for Nike?

Bad luck, bad coaching, and bad culture. The last two will change next year, and hopefully so will the first.

All you have to do is watch those stupid milk men cheerleaders and how their fans/cult worship them.

It's so bizarre, but pretty much explains why they suck.

Nice try. UT has taken down and removed all their racist links.

Aggy still has a statue of Sul Ross on campus....a KKK leader and confederate general and slave owner.

All students are required to to take selfies with it during freshman indoctrination.

Loser DNA. There isn't an aggie alive who has experienced major team success in any major men's sport.

It'll sound superficial, because it very much is. But A&M is boring. Good school, money, good people, good traditions, great state, but boring. I don't want to say "corporate" because it's not quite that, but it's very FUBU and insular and I think that probably doesn't help when trying to capitalize on all your other advantages to catapult the football program to a top 10-15 level.

I don't know how much of a real hurdle this is as a football program, but I don't think it helps. I think the fact that the brief time when they had J Football on campus was the most attention they garnered nationally over a span of decades probably proves that it has some impact.

You're not changing that A&M is wholesome, its logos, mascot, colors, etc. are all dull, College Station is bland as can be, etc. But I do think it's probably a good idea to hire someone who can inject some fun and life into the program should someone with those attributes land on the short list. Jimbo was the opposite of that. Good resume, solid all around, title winning coach - exactly how A&M drew it up. But he was utterly uninteresting. Even the mini controversies he got into on NIL, etc. were bland.

I hereby declare Monsusta a Longhorn fan trying to hide behind Godzilla. He knows that UT has taken down every single one of their racist links.

Its hard to climb the ladder when you're convinced you should already be on top.

A&M, as a culture, lacks a hunger and fight. It reflects on the field. The kind of guy necessary to build such a culture would never be tolerated at College Station.

A&M is Andy Griffith, trying to be an MMA champion. Its not going to work.
