It is very weird. They act like the Bengals are LSU. I've never seen a college fan base act like that over a player or two. Strange indeed.

It's more than that. Many colleges have had QBs or players do that. I've never seen a college fanbase act like a pro team is like their college team. I swear it's the strangest, weirdest thing I've encountered by fans.

Eh, I give 'em a bit of shite about it, but in all honesty as someone who didn't really latch onto a team as a kid and doesn't live particularly close to one (Washington is the closest), I tend to follow ones where Bama players I really enjoyed watching ended up, like the Titans. I think it would only be an issue the Bengals ended up playing the Saints in the Super Bowl.
