If we agree that lsu puts out high numbers of "stars" will you let whatever hostage, which you have in possession, go free and safe from harm?

But what of the gay percentage?
The Gay Mexican demographic is growing exponentially.
Most of the Gay African Americans are in the Delta, and a lot of those folks head to Memphis or Jackson.

Answer a couple questions:
Think multiple have pretty much summed it up with demographics and from what some have posted when your states largest city does not have a very competitive and engaged football center it makes it hard. Also as some have said you have powerhouse basketball programs like the Arkansas Wings that are known all over the country.
Some obvious ones, for decades they may be one of the best basketball cities in the world. The large public schools just turn out big time recruits, also you have the schools in ms that as the population has shifted they have taken from Memphis proper.
While they have obvious disadvantages than other SEC states and schools, they have one huge plus being the JUCO system that can continually fill needs and be a major plus. Really Mullen has done a fantastic job taking the less highly rated JUCO guys and plugging them in to his system. Not to say Freeze has not but just being honest Mullen/State do not get into the beauty pageant side of recruiting like Ole Miss does. It has worked out for both, and both deserve a ton of credit being sandwiched in between the entire SEC and competing with another large instate school.
CBB has beat our arse the last two, and maybe guys that are not ranked as high are tougher and play with that "chip". Do I know that for a fact, no, but he has certainly built a very tough minded/ hardworking football culture, that is truly team first.
Give respect where respect is due, they are a one horse state in the south, they will be fine. Still comes down to QB play, how you do in the trenches, and player development for a majority of the class, that goes for any school.

If I can make fun of others on here then isn't it fair I make fun of myself too?

this has been a stressful week for my family, and I was reading this thread, Thinking "Why would any LSU fan put down the so called lesser talented school that beats them more than anyone in the SEC except Bama"
Then your pix was posted... I kept looking, closer and closer, glasses off... And burst out loud laughing to only have others in the office ask, "What is so funny"
Yep... Lordy Mercy man!

I blame the Little Rock schools for a lot of this problem. Poorly managed and sadly lacking from a classroom perspective. There are 5-20 kids a year from that area that could be 3-5 star talents that no one knows about because they will never qualify academically. Similar issues in the Pine Bluff area as well. Tons of talent but can't/won't qualify for college. As far as why? beats me....
Small school football in Arkansas is really good but not many D1 prospects from the lower classifications most years. We produce a lot of mid major/D2 type kids every year as evidenced by our instate D2 schools usually being pretty good.
Our state loves football, but basketball has been king in Central Arkansas for quite some time and it shows.
