Possibly because they have a better team.

There's a difference between liking our chances and thinking we can't lose.

Alabamas defense was young, and actually pretty average.

Exaggerate much?

One bow tie = one bama bangs.

He's just trying to stay eligible as the Bama QB.

Wopw. That's tough. My grandfather passed away with Parkinson's many years ago, before you could do anything for it. Now, with medication, you can pretty much live a fairly normal life. I hope he will be ok.

Yes, those were pretty tough circumstances. I'm sure the offense will show some improvement. We'll have to wait and see how much. My confidence level for Mettenberger is not quite as high as LSU fans are....but I am a bit biased against him. Only time will tell.

What does a bowtie have to do with Islam?

Not Islam in general, the Nation of Islam. FWIW, I like the bow tie look.

You mean the kind of luck that Alabama needed in 2011 to even be in the game?

But LSU required no dominos to fall in place in 2007? Got it...

That wasn't luck, it was an act of God. Totally different.

But, I guess that LSU is different. Les Miles is an idiot, will never have LSU in a potential place for victory again, and we are sliding to 6-7 win territory after averaging 10 wins a season for the past decade or more.

To be more accurate, AlaTiger, we have been sliding to 6-7 since 2007 and just haven't quite gotten there yet, if you follow the threads that have passed through here and/or other sites in the last 5 years.

In 2007, there was no other team that had a reasonable argument for being in the NCG. In 2011, there was one other.

They are stunned beyond belief anytime they lose to anyone. Half the state goes into massive depression immediately. I always try to geaux fishing or hunting Sunday after a Bama lose as I know I will have the woods or the gulf to myself as they sort out how it is possible that they lost a football game. (No one has ever actually beat them, they always just lose totally due to their own stupid mistakes.)

They would be stunned if they lost to the Patriots.

Seriously? USC was great that year as was Georgia. Georgia had the longest winning streak in the BCS by the end of the year and don't give me the whole, "Georgia didn't win the conference" crap because as LSU fans should know, that's bull shite. LSU lost in November. This whole bitching about 2011 is ridiculous, you idiots act like you didn't have a chance to play for the NC. If Alabama didn't belong in that game, it wouldn't have been the most thorough arse whipping LSU has ever been handed.

If Bama fans think they will beat LSU, it's because recent history is on their side. Why do LSU fans think they won't lose? You have a half retarded coach that does almost as little with great talent as Georgia. At least we as a fanbase understand what we have in Richt, you people seem to think eating grass and speaking in riddles that don't make sense are the hallmark of a great coach.
