So when you're an A&M fan is that Alabama, Florida, Prairie View, Southern University or Texas A&M?
I'm never quite sure myself.
That probably sounded way smarter in your head

To be fair to the aggie, when I hear "OSU" i think of Oklahoma State. Ohio State might be the most well known, but in some regions not many people think a lot about them.

Because if Texas wanted out, if not the SEC, you can bet the Big Ten would have been interested
Plus you bring two huge rivalries to the conf with Aggies and Horns plus OU and Texas

If a poster with the username Buckeye06 is asking, and it is obviously to indicate that the SEC would take a team nowhere near their region if the team was good enough, then it is 100% Ohio State.
The Aggie was just trying to be a smartass, but they aren't very good at it

A&M is the only FBS/1A football program. Whereas OSU makes up at least 3.

It doesn't matter if they suck or not, they still have fans excited to watch their favorite team get abused like a two dollar hooker.
A&M is about on par with Baylor. SEC is probably a little disappointed in the return they are getting from adding them and Mizzou.
That's funny, all the SEC paychecks went up when A&M and Mizzou joined the SEC. Don't know why anyone would be upset by that. Pretty sure that would not have happened if Baylor had joined the SEC. Last I checked, Baylor was taking over the Big12
10 years later little brother chokelahoma decides he wants to join the SEC. He has to come begging for an invitation. SEC says okay but you have to bring your little sister teasip along. Little sister teasip is going to get gangbanged by the SEC if and when y'all ever show up.
The meltdown on the rant is going to be epic once teasip joins the conference. They will make 'bama fans feel incompetent. They will not make it past their first year before the rant is screaming to get rid of them.
This is your typical teasip fan whenever things don't go their way

Riiight.
Kentucky is about as yankee as it gets. You're not as cool as you think you are.

When the Ohio State Buckeyes take the field, you can be sure that millions of college football fans across America will be tuning into watch one of the sport's most storied powers compete. Three games involving Ohio State during the 2021 regular season were among the 10 most-watched games, and there are no signs of that trend changing anytime soon.

2 NCs in 20 years - Ohio would rank below several SEC teams. Based on braggadocio, Ohio would give Texas A&M and Tennessee a run for their money.

You people still think DMAs and TV markets matter more than raw numbers of viewers.
Adorable.

When the Big 12 was going to blow up and ESPN saved it by creating a first-of-its-kind 1 school network, did they offer that to A&M or Texas?
Posted on 8/31/22 at 3:00 pm to MullenBoys
A new instant rivalry within the SEC.

ESPN told them too so they could get rid of Longhorn network.
Sankey also wanted to add some ACC schools and with the expanded playoff planning on controlling college football. I assume he thought that PAC schools were off the table bc of geography. Obviously for tv markets the LA schools would have been nice but the travel is not worth it to me. That’s going to use up a lot of money.
Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Because the only team anyone outside of Texas knows about inside of Texas is Texas.

Didn’t you know? “We’re Texas—what starts here changes the world.” You improved yourselves merely by association with Texas. While that’s difficult to accept, we all know it’s just true.
Any more questions?

Don't underestimate the lucrative power of the Blacksburg, VA TV market man. Y'all should definitely bring in Va-Tech!
