Correct

quote:

. He saw Upshaw chasing Gryzb, who turned around and yelled at him, the officer said.
“At this time, Upshaw grabbed Gryzb by the back of the neck and hair with his right hand, and pushed her downward in what appeared to be an attempt to push her to the ground,” Officer Rusty Romine wrote.

I am not sure why you are trying to defend Upshaw. She was arrested as well, but this is no way to treat a woman. You can walk away and not run after her to throw her down.

Because when the facts came out, it was discovered that she was the one being violent with Courtney.. Here dad even confirmed it.. He was trying to stop her from hitting him.. Never once did he ever hit her..

Just in case you didn't know, you're an idiot OP..

I assume you also say nothing happened with Smith either and Urban should be in the clear. After all, Smith was never charged by the cops either

I don't know anything about the OSU situation. I really don't care about it.

This was a solo incident that Saban did not try to hide. Remember it is not the crime, but the cover up. (Nixon)

And it's well known her Dad has too much Gump blood being he let out a ROLL TIDE when h exited the courthouse, that had to make for an awkward Thanksgiving dinner.

Holy shite that is so trashy

Yeh, some of the bama fans in here are being unreal

Look, I agree no coach would have kicked upshaw off the team. Charges were dropped so at that point coaches are just going to act like nothing happened, I get it

But the Bama fans in here, and even worse her own frickign father, supporting Upshaw is a microcosim on everything wrong with college sports fans

If the girl started the altercation Upshaw had every right to defend himself

But a man doing this, is completely unnaceptable and should never be defended

LewDawg is incapable of winning a championship, because he's not a member of the UGA football team. Fear the dumb indeed. However, as a fan he can celebrate a championship, an SEC championship. He can also celebrate UGA owning Auburn.

Officers report they saw Upshaw grabbing her by the hair and the back of the neck and throwing her to the ground

Be a human being and not a fan and sack up like summerofgeorge and just admit Upshaw was wrong and a piece of shite here

Stop exaggerating. Even the officer's report (who was on the other side of a big arse parking lot) didn't use words that strong. The girl came up to him, was yelling at him, threw a few slaps/punches at him, he then grabbed the back of her neck and bent her over so she couldn't hit him anymore. That's it. Complete non-story, and I'm one that has zero tolerance for fighting.

If he truly just defended himself, that would have been clear to the officer and he would not have been arrested with her
