He clearly had a concussion after the first play of the game and it showed. Three turnovers???

Thats not like Stockton.

Because Auburn's DL is elite. They put pressure on Stockton all game. Bama was soft and he had all day vs them. We would have killed the backup. I am a big fan of Stockton too. The guy is a gamer.

There was no concussion.

Just a stinger.

Gunner was playing over his skiis against Bama. He was making excellent throws behind poor reads.

You can't expect that to go your way week in and week out.

Kudos to Auburn for making enough plays to be in a position to win.

He looked like his head got slammed on the first play of the game. Did they not have to medically remove him from the game?

Just because Auburn made it look like he had a concussion, didn't mean he had one.

Stockton is human and Auburn made him look it.

They were working on his shoulder. He just landed awkward and it was probably numb the rest of the day.

The SEC officials put him in concussion protocol.

He came out. Passed the tests.
He had a stinger.

Rewatch the play.
The head to the ground wasn't violent.
The body on top of his neck was scary.
I immediately worried about neck/spine injuries. And as it turns out, he had a stinger.
It wasn't his first. It won't be his last.

Yeah, the 2 picks he threw yesterday were pretty bad. The one right before half was a bad read. He threw to a guy that was covered up in man and had a safety over top. He floated it and it was easy pick for Fegans.

The other was just a miss. Threw it way wide of his target and Melendez was back there.

Not his best game.

Auburn always seems to have an elite DL. Not looking forward to next week.

After the "stinger" (not spine injury), we drove the field 75 yards for 14 points.
In the 4th, we drove 90 yards for another 7.

No one is making concussion/stinger excuses. Gunner was good when he was good. And not good when turning the ball over and making poor throws.

Gunner speaks like he is dumb as rocks so you wouldn’t know if he were concussed tbh

And Menedez is one of the best LB in the country. Stockton couldn't step up in the pocket or run because he had to account for that animal

No offense. I don't credit Auburns DL for Gunner's play.

You can credit the DL for playing the run on first down.
UGA had a lot of 2nd and longs. And that isn't characteristic of the offense. Full credit goes to the DL and LBs.

But gunner was only sacked twice (2 more times than Bama) and there was one more TFL. It was good. Not elite.

A stinger alone shouldn't affect decision making. It's a nerve injury, not a brain injury, so it doesn't cause confusion or slow processing.

Gunner isn't slow processing.
He is decisive.

The 3rd down throw at the end of the Alabama game was the wrong read. It was masked by perfect placement.

Gunner has been doing this quite a bit lately. It is tough expect every game to go flawless when you don't make the correct read but execute with perfect placement.
