Why are you guys defending racist statues flags songs etc.

After reading the rant the last few days its abundantly clear that you all definitely dont want anything to change. Regardless of how decisive it may be. Regardless of who brings up the topic. Its consistantly a strong hell no. Really just want a healthy conversation about the times we are in

Look confederate statues shouldn’t have been put up and confederate flags shouldn’t be flown but if removal is done uncontrollably and without thought you get situations like the Florida chant where it doesn’t make sense. That’s where the animosity comes from.

Did you know MLK Jr was homophobic? So after we remove racist, isnt he next?
Did you know Mohammed was a slave owner? Should we force Muslims to abandon their profit?
Did you know Volkswagen was created by Nazis? Should every car owner of that brand give up their car?
The issue is not removing them. It's the snowball effect people with common sense understand will happen when you cater to offense.

This why the NRA doesn't cave on anything. Because if they concede on something, it won't end there. It's going to take people telling these people no for any changes to be reasonable. If the pandering persists, we're going to just continue to watch people try to out-woke one another.

A black man in Oakland, CA, hung some ropes in trees so he and his buddies could use them for fun exercise equipment.
Ropes were there for months before any "woke" people noticed them.
Ropes in trees are racist.
Man now being investigated for "hate crimes."

MLK would be shamed out of BLM if he were around today. His homophobia aside, he was far to reasonable and civil to be tolerated in today's methods of protest.
