One more thing to add, Fayetteville probably won't even sell out the LSU game b/c of deer season.

Lol, fricking swamp trash talking shite about hillbillies. That's kind of funny. You sure got us with that Ar-Kansas line though...

You forgot all the students will be in turkey comas and will sleep through a 1:30 game. Zero students in the student section won't look good to the networks.

we're going to the Glen Campbell concert tonight

That should be interesting. His Alzheimer's has been an issue in early concerts when he forgot his daughter's name and quite a few lyrics....I hope he does OK and the tour ends well.

Yeah, I'm kinda nervous about it TBH. I'm not really that much of a fan (he's a classic, but a bit before my time), but the hubby wanted to go.

I'm not going to begrudge people who don't want to pay full price for a glorified scrimmage at a stadium that apparently is a major dog

That's being a fan? They asked for this, now they aren't supporting it. Let me know how that isn't hypocrisy.

Why are tickets still available for all but one Razorback game this year?

No, it's not at all. At War Memorial, the whole crowd is together packed in tight, there's no jumbotron taking attention away from the field, and the fans are generally more liquored up and rowdy. In Fayetteville, the crowd is sectioned off all over (upper deck, boxes, club seats, upper student section), and the tailgating setup doesn't allow for a huge party atmosphere like Little Rock does. Fayetteville crowd is more of a go there to be seen crowd, whereas Little Rock is more of a go there to party crowd. Not all of this is a positive for Little Rock and a negative for Fayetteville, it's just how it is and why the crowd in Little Rock is consistently more into the game.

And yet, LR crowds sucked balls last year. And they've sucked balls for other non-marquee match ups. Just like any other fricking team in the universe, your fans aren't going to get super into games that are meaningless.

LR fans are showing their true colors this season. They were right all along. The UofA would suffer if they moved games from LR...damn right, because the bitches that live there are holding out in protest because the UofA didn't get down on their knees and service them again.

Guess who is going to suffer from UA cutting ties with WMS? Hint: it's not UA

Not that I will bite on the GSD but by reading your post one glaring "mistake" was found. It could just be an attempt to flame LR?

quote:

As Wally Hall mentioned in today's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette:
Some northwest Arkansas businessmen have bought tickets and donated them to youth organizations as a tax writeoff

It is a LR businessman but that would make

quote:

NWA >>> LR

false.

But I'm sure that NWA businessmen could/should of stepped up and did the same and maybe Jax St would have sold out.

This is stupid. It isn't the University of Northwest Arkansas.

Fan support across the state will go down if no more games are played in Little Rock. This isn't that hard of a concept.

If the U of A at Fayetteville keeps cutting ties with central Arkansas it's going to do a lot more harm than good.

It's pretty fricking pathetic that we can't sell out a 55,000 seat stadium in Central Arkansas. If it is our "tradition" to not sell out a game a year in Little Rock, then it may be time to rape tradition and throw it in the basement.

You serious? What kind of fricking tradition is not selling tickets? I don't.... I don't even know what to say to that.

Since we all know that fans from NWA are responsible for filling RRS, where will they be this week?
