Of course you would think that because those colors strike fear into your weak and surrendering bones.

Notice the pockets on the Alabama uniforms are reminiscent of the pouches carried by the English soldiers. They both served a similar purpose also, to collect the tears of Cajuns.

Football history must be all they teach in alabama skewls, because this twat never heard about Andrew Jackson & dem bawz down da bayou.

I thought it was because you guys are so desperate for anything that resembles a rivalry game despite Bama and its fans constantly telling you to frick off. We already have the barn and the volunqueers.

That explains why your fan base starts 10x more threads about LSU than Auburn and UT combined. Watch what they do folks, not what they say.

They will stomp their foot and deny this, but it's true.

Andrew Jackson, not from Louisiana and not a coonass, had a force of about 4700 or so troops in New Orleans.

About 1,000, estimated, consisted of Jackson's U.S.Marines and Navy men and his very own Army regulars, not coonasses.

Approximately 1,300 were Tennessee Vols, not coonasses.

About a thousand were Kentucky Wildcats, not coonasses.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 were Ole Miss Rebels and Ms. State Bulldogs, not coonasses.

Nearly 500 were black men from Louisiana, not coonasses.

45-50 were Choctaw Indians, not coonasses.

Drunk pirates were represented by a handful of individuals, not coonasses.

Finally, about a thousand "people" from Louisiana were involved, mostly not Cajuns, but Creoles and assorted river men, tough guys, and poor street urchin types, the latter of which who were basically forced into service.

Hardly any of this last expanded and varied group were coonasses, they were banned in New Orleans at the time of attack by the English.

See, the Cajuns don't fight, it's not who they are or what they do. They have always had these huge mouths and boisterous attitudes but very little arse to back it up when the hammer meets the nail.

They ran from the English in Canada and basically abandoned most of their women, the ones the English wanted anyway, to them as they fled.

They stayed where they had been banished to when the first arrived in Louisiana, Cajun Country swamps, when the English attacked in New Orleans.

Coonasses weren't even allowed in the city limits of New Orleans during the time period when the English came. The Creoles of New Orleans would have literally rather have died slow painful deaths on anthills than to have lived among them.

Let's not rewrite history and somehow attribute Andrew Jackson's great victory in New Orleans to some great force of Cajun's who fought with bravery.
