Not just better but a LOT better. I think we could have results akin to Georgia last year rushing for about 200 a game if our passing game is good. If our passing isn't good we'll rush for more.

Are you now stating Arkansas is going to have has a better run game than Alabama?

Probably not, but it will be better than most.

Will your passing game be better under the new coach than it was under the Bobby Petrino system?

We like to speculate. How many straight losses to Alabama will it take for Malzahn to get on the hot seat?

You guys keep drinking the kool-aid though. It kind of reminds me of us Auburn fans last off-season.

It can't get any worse at Arky brah....

Unless Arky went 0-8 and 3-9....

Who cares. We averaged around 300 yards passing and 100 yards rushing last year.

The offense should be around 200 passing 200 rushing in the future. Same production from the offense, more balance.

but that power run game will get demolished since the talent is average.

So you're trying to compare two coaches with two totally different philosophy's with just one stat. You sure are dumb.

Well Tennessee was #2 in the SEC in passing last year so I'm guessing it will be decent. We wont throw as much as they did or Petrino did but I'm guessing we will be fine in that department.

We shouldn't have too.

Petrino was just as one dimensional with his offenses as Nutt was except for 2010, but Nutt had 1998, anomalies abound.

My biggest doubts about Bielema involve his scheme. He plans to beat Bama and LSU, two programs who will ALWAYS have more talent than him, at their own game.

Anybody think A&M would have gone 11-2 this year if we lined up in the I and single-back sets all year? Hell no. And we have a shite ton more talent at RB and offensive line than Bielema will. We ran a scheme that made the most out of what we had and allowed us to compete with teams better than us on paper.

Why is an Auburn fan starting a thread about Hawg fans trying to compare Petrino's recruiting classes to Bielema?

Nevermind about a methed out midge at QB having a Heisman season. That had nothing to do with it.

I once started a thread that Petrino was the best coach in the SEC and I still BELIEVE he was.

You think Manziel would have done what he did in a more traditional offense?

That's my point. We worked with what we had, and it worked wonderfully. Bielema is going to stubbornly try and force square pegs through round holes. This isnt the Big 10, no more lining up and pounding Indiana, Illinois and Purdue into submission.

He isn't planning on running a carbon copy of the Wisconsin offense. He has said this numerous times already. He knows we don't have the personnel to do it yet.
