We KNEW the secondary would be a question coming into this season, BUT we have talented players.
We SHOULD get better and it LOOKS LIKE we have better coaching.
I have seen nothing to indicate that our guys can't and won't improve as the season progresses.

How is this a counterpoint for what he said?
One could try to make a case their defense is actually regressing.
South Carolina's offensive line >>>>> greater than Tennessee's (with five first time starters), yet UT was able to repeatedly attack and expose your LBs pass coverage liabilities.
Granted, this was first game I actually analyzed Georgia's defense in how Missouri might attack them in our upcoming game, but I came away underwhelmed.
Still, the way your schedule plays out you have to be considered the favorites to win the East. But I think 5 out the 7 West teams would manhandle the entire East, including Georgia.

I don't think anyone is implying that UGA will turn into a lockdown D or anything, but it's not exactly ridiculous delusion to think that the freshmen in UGA's secondary will get better as the season goes along.

How do you feel about that offense? Second only to Oregon, I believe.

We get our top 2 WRs back next week, but we lost Playstation for 4-6 weeks.....
Every game is up for grabs.

We have a ridiculous running game and a mediocre QB. It remains to be seen how the return of our WRs from injury will impact things.

Seems like a bunch of Georgia fans still think they're the class of the East.
What fricking message boards are you reading? Everything I've seen looks like doom and gloom after a 5th straight win over Tennessee. We're expecting to lose at least two or three more times this season barring some miracle turnaround in the passing game or passing defense.

We have a senior QB that HAS looked pretty good (against tech and NE last year) that has had ONE shaky game.
He is not as bad as people are saying, Better wideouts will make a difference.
2 more losses for us is not unrealistic. But neither is winning out and beating whoever the West throws at us.
Why be confident? Why not? had Celmson not shite the bed at FSU, we'd be looking even better.
I like our chances this year and the future looks bright. I have not always been able to say that as a UGA fan...

What does Tenn's OL have to do with UGA's linebackers in pass coverage?

It's not UGA's defense you need to be worried about.

No, one couldn't. Georgia came up with the stops when they needed to. The big plays against Georgia were significant mismatches, most of the time well-defended, but the ball was placed where only the taller receiver could get to it. Not necessarily a bad secondary. The only other thing the DB's could have done in most of those cases is flagrant pass interference.
Give credit where it's due, Worley and the Tennessee receivers answered to the hype and played a great game.
Now prepare thy anus.

What would it be then?
We don't have any conference losses (to South Carolina)

I think we can beat UGA in 3 weeks in Little Rock.
I agree. I don't think our front 7 will be able to stop your running game behind that massive OL. Arkansas looked damn good against a very good A&M

Were not very good. Losing sony makes us worse.

I don't know. The same reason Gator fans are? What have you seen out of Florida that makes you think you are any good? Driskell?
I don't know a single Gator confident in beating TN on Saturday.

The same could be said about the Gators no? Muschamp is a good defensive coach, so reason should say they will get better.
Will they? LOL who the fk knows.

I'm all out of confidence. I would be surprised if we don't lose two more. Then again, nobody on our schedule looks amazing.

Arky fans...does Little Rock get pretty loud? I cant imagine many students travel.
You'll hate a night game at LR. Don't worry about students traveling either. It's all the crazy, drunk rednecks from east and south AR you'll want to watch out for. Very different crowd than Fayetteville. It's small and can be very loud.
