Florida will be good but I do not see them being a threat to Georgia.

Our toughest game is luckily at home and we were he only group to go toe to toe with Bama last year so I won say we have zero chance just yet vs them. Mullen made up the offense on a fly last year with a pocket passer which is absolutely insane. Now he has the offense he wants. A heavy run based offense with y’all down field threats

Meh I don’t think he’s overrated. He just hasn’t been in a lot of pressure situations.

I'm sure it's because they finished so strong in their bowl game.

September 18th will likely be brutal, but then they have almost a full month until the play LSU. If they win that one, they are looking pretty good except for GA.

I don't know how optimistic they are in terms of the playoffs, but I think they can win the East again just because Kirby Smart is an expert in shitting the bed.

They’ll be 10-2 again this year at worst. If he ever hires a good DC then they’ll be bigger threats and in the discussion more for playoff front runners instead of being a dark horse every year.

Jones is a great runner and will open up the playbook a bit more for Mullen. He has a 64% career completion rate with 7 tds/1 int and 514 yards rushing with 6 tds. Not bad.

More importantly, our schedule is relatively easy.
Bama and UGA are our toughest games, I think we split those 1-1. The atmosphere at the Swamp will be insane and Bama lost a ton of weapons, so there's a chance for the upset.
I think we go 2-1 against UK, LSU, and UT. I can see UT being a sloppy game following Bama. LSU is coming off a bad season and their QB is injured. UK will play us tough at their house.
We should beat FAU, USF, Vandy, USCe, Mizzou, FSU, Samford.

9-3 or 10-2 seems pretty achievable with this schedule.

It sounds like you are set at RB, how do things look at WR and OL to help that new QB?

The inability to run the ball at all was such a critical gap that it made what the passing game was able to do that much more impressive to me last year.

Just seems like Jones will need more help on the ground as they transition in replacements for Pitts and Toney.

Yet still beat #6 Florida with a bunch of backups and first time starters
