The graphic above shows that you’ve failed 4 times in the CFP. More failure than success by my count.

Well I for one trust LSU fans when it comes to knowing about losing records.

Bama QBs in Super Bowls:

Bart Starr 2-0 2 MVPS

Joe Namath 1-0 MVP

Kenny Stabler 1-0

LSU QBs in Super Bowls:

Joe Burroughs 0-1 (choked away lead and only had one TD pass in the second half which was the result of obvious offensive pass interference.)

Bert Jones: I thought he made it to a Super Bowl and lost too but he never even won a playoff game.

Mac Jones will be next for a Bama QB to win the Super Bowl.

Yet only he has a chance at winning more than one NC while in college

2021 NC Bama would lose by 3 scores to any previous NC Bama squad and even teams like 2010 Bama who went to the Citrus Bowl would’ve worked that group.

Spot on. Last year was Saban’s best coaching job. That team had no business sniffing a national championship, much less running Georgia out of the building in the SEC Championship. Remarkable season.

Oh child, life is hard for you. Even if Alabama does not win another NC in football (not going to happen) it would take UGA centuries to catch up Last year's team was the weakest Coach Saban has ever had at Alabama. We should have lost to Auburn, LSU, Arkansas and did lose to TexasAm. However if Alabama has its two starting WR in the NC game, Alabama beats UGA again Here is a number for you to think about, 4. It is how many NC Coach Saban and Alabama need to win before Coach Saban retires (it will be 3 by the end of this year.) Enjoy the season

Let’s stay in the present.

Why do people make this a thing every time Alabama finishes #2 in the country as if that's some sign they're slipping?

Soon, Bama is going to face some serious challenges: Saban retirement is getting closer. Of course, they will likely hire Dabo or Kirby but you can't just replace Saban like this (Paterno/Bowden effect). NIL: USC, Miami, Texas, Oregon, etc will be much more relevant in the future. This should hurt Bama longterm. Now, Bama should be still relevant and a Top10 football program but they won't be as dominant...

I actually agree with this. No way we maintain at the current level. But would take Joab Thomas level assclownery to completely screw up what Saban built with Alabamas tradition and support. Long term after Saban, we should still compete for a National Championship ever few years and win 1+ every decade. Most reasonable people would be good with that.

I think you’re on to something. He has to be getting paid. If not, he must have some serious mental derangement to be as obsessed with a team he claims to hate. He knows more about Alabama than most hard core Bama fans. If he isn’t a paid troll I pity him and hope he doesn’t snap like other "involuntary celibates”…

Tide fans riding a pro team from Los Angeles to cope with their college team’s failures - now I’ve seen everything

ETA: Correction, I haven’t seen Alabana go 15-0

They are scared to death about NIL. They responded to Saban's begging for money, but they all know it cannot be sustained. Saban knows it and it will frustrate him into retirement. They are not really whining; it is the sound of fear.

Pathetic excuse.

Georgia was one of the most injured teams last year and they overcame and didn’t miss a beat (except for the SEC championship) and beat Bama in the natty. Alabama got an injury or two and they looked like dog shite (Georgias defense had a lot to do with that). What it means is that Georgia had better backups than Alabama, thus making them the better and more complete team.

Ya. It’s not like bama has been stacking #1 class on #1 class. Saban is an ok coach, but he’s always struggled at recruiting

You want to revisit what Bama lost from the previous year as far as NFL departures?
-Mac Jones (1st rd)
-Najee Harris (1st rd)
-Devonta Smith (1st rd)
-Jaylen Waddle (1st rd)
-Alex Leatherwood (1st rd)
-Patrick Surtain (1st rd)
-Landon Dickerson (early 2nd)
-Christian Barmore (early 2nd)
-Deonte Brown (6th rd)

So add to that losing:
-Williams (1st rd)
-Metchie (2nd)
-Armour-Davis (4th)

Add a bunch of other starters who were hurt but who are back this year and it’s pretty fair to say Bama was incredibly depleted compared to past championship teams.

The fact that Saban had them in position for a repeat title despite losing all of that, plus replacing an OC should be spoken of amongst his greatest coaching performances of all time.

Why are UGA fans so obsessed with Alabama? Just won a championship and this is what you’re talking about?

No obsession here. Just responding to the Bammers who are whining about injuries for the NC game and ignoring that they lost to aTm and should have lost to Auburn, who we beat like a rented mule. I can't fathom why fans of a program that's won so many championships would make so many excuses for one that they lost. And to a better team.

Is this you going on record and saying that anything less than a National Championship for Georgia means Georgia is in decline?
