That is what it is now. Huntsville was the birthplace of the Space Program. Huntsville relinquished its role for the most part in the late 70's and early 80s.

However

Why is Huntsville Alabama famous?

Huntsville is a city in northern Alabama that initially grew because of its cotton and railroad industries, but today it is best known for its military technology and aerospace industries. It was here that scientists designed and tested the Saturn V rocket that would send men to the moon for the first time.

Before posting at least check out what you are trying to dispute.

Laughing at YOU.

I also did not lose the NC discussion. If Alabama had had its two starting WR, then Alabama and not UGA is a two time NC winner in the last two years.

So Huntsville voluntarily gave it up?

Huntsville is still involved but went on to more of a research base. Because of that it no longer builds or tests the rockets that go into space (the last one that Huntsville did was the Space Shuttle.)

That is a reason why Huntsville was chosen to have the Space Command Headquarters.

Well, enjoy your national title, as it looks like there will not be anymore this decade (or most likely the next)

Bama obviously needed the player availability advantage to beat uga. That’s why you won game 1.

When that factor evened out, uga won.

Something tells me you really don’t believe this and that’s why you’re so defensive about losing the NC last year.

I really do hope you weren't one of those Bama fans that got annoyed at the "ref" excuses that others have leveled over the years.

And speaking of which, if that controversial fumble call doesn't happen, it's unlikely that Bama scores a TD against us. Are you saying that your offense--even with a Heisman-winning QB--was so bad that it was incapable of driving down the field and scoring a TD against our defense without the two missing WRs?

Perhaps the Heisman should've gone to one of those two receivers instead of Young.

This is a great thread- a dick-measuring contest between the most arrogant and despised fan bases in the SEC.

Bama's OL had trouble all year, so without the WRs, yes I am saying that.

Oh child, Alabama wins the NC this year. None of the Alabama fans are upset about last year, as Alabama overachieved, and yet was in position to win the NC

Like I said, if that was the best UGA team in decades the future does not bode well for Georgia

Yeah dude, we were upset when Auburn won a NC in 2010 and LSU in 2019. You might want to look at where they were the next year.....

However it seems Alabama wins the NC every other year or so....

Laughing at you....

So you think the Heisman should have been awarded to those gentlemen instead of BY? It seems like you are saying those two WR's were the entire offense.
