Because all they have is Alabama football. It is literally everything to them. If they had the opportunity to go into hibernation during the off-season they would. A lot of them live vicariously through bama, so any perceived threat to bama is seen as a personal threat against themselves. I know it’s unusual, and it’s very sad. Just don’t ever approach them about this though, they get very offended and triggered.

I think LSU fans think Bama fans obsess over Burrow, but in reality LSU fans are just projecting their neuroticism since they want so badly to be equivalent to Bama.

LSU out of conference schedule is comprised of powerhouse's La. Tech, Southeast Louisiana Junior College at Hammond and Rice.
