Billy Masters, former LSU tight end great back in the '60s, AFL, and NFL player...

Also Kristy Curry, current women's basketball coach at Texas Tech and she had a very successful stint at Purdue in the same position before Texas Tech. Making 7 consecutive NCAA tournaments with one appearance in NC game and she reached 100 wins in four seasons which was faster than Pat Summit or Geno from UCONN. Her brother coached me in high school.

I think these are two solid names considering I grew up in Olla, LA and my high school had only 225 students 9-12, and graduated with 44.

Antonio Cromartie is the only one that is famous now that comes to mind.

I went to high school with Brad Culpepper but I doubt anyone but Gator fans and Tampa Bay Buc fans know who he is.

I am pretty sure JW (Red)Broudnaux, who was the starting fullback for LSU's 1958 MNC is also from Bastrop.

It would probably be former LSU Tiger and NY Giant Leonard Marshall.

When your from a town of only about 10,000 having 2 Super Bowl rings kinda trumps everyone else.

Patterson is in the house!

I lived in Kosciusko, MS for six years. Former MSU and Washington Redskins running back, Clarence Harmon is a Kosy High grad.

Oprah is also from Kosciusko.

met Leonard when he was playing for the Giants. He is a very nice guy who was one of the most popular guys on those great Giants teams. He was kind of a gentle giant who went out of his way to be nice to everybody. Married an beautiful Italian lady.

I have two hometowns...

For Memphis, sorry Penny fans but "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, the limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, wheeling and dealing son of a gun tops him by a mile and has had a more extensive career in athletics from his days as a University of Minnesota footballer to his 87 decades of wrestling prowess... A lot of people associate the Naitch to Minnesota and Charlotte but he was born in Memphis where he was adopted. Was one of the babies during the adoption scandal in the 40's and early 50's.

For my East Tennessee home, definitely either Steve Spurrier or Jason Witten.

Not my hometown, but my HS would be Peter Tom Willis. QB at Florida State then in the NFL he started for the Bears I think.

My hometown's most famous ppl can be found in various mugshots and FBI wanted posters.
