So, apparently a bunch of Suckeye fans are still unhappy about 2 straight bullwhippings at the hands of Michigan and the collapsing against UGA in the playoffs and are wanting Day fired. Huh? Herby took issue on a recent callin show and said they were a bunch of jackasses.

Well, my opinion is, he should have called them something else. My neighbor owns a donkey and I'm telling ya, that critter is smart. The Suckeye fans calling for Day to be fired aren't intelligent enough to be called a donkey!

He moved to Nashville to get away from them.

I wouldn't call it a collapse. The injuries stacked up the refs blew a massive call. They are stupid if they don't see the upside in that game.

It was targeting. They got a free shot on a great player and took it. Did the same thing to Pitts a few years ago.

I think sometimes these guys are too harsh on the fans. They seem to have no consideration for the fact that the fans get asked by coaches every single year - do more, pay more, give more, and yet fans get no say, no control, and just have to sit back and watch and hope things turn out well. So, of course you're going to get some irrational reactions. Just give the fans some perspective, thank them for their support, and let it go.

I’ll never understand why he gets flack from people, he is quite good. People’s standards are unrealistic if they can’t appreciate him.

2 defenseless WRs knocked out. I thought that's what the rule was for they are both targeting by law.

They both happened to be dominating too.

I'm not a lawyer, but my friend is. There is no law against targeting on a football field. I asked him and he said so.

Uh, we outscored them 18-3 in the 4th quarter. Most intelligent folks would call that a collapse. Dang dude, only a Florida fan would say something so...wait a minute...who do you cheer for?

He was knocked out while trying to catch a football. How is it fair to reverse that call? You guys would be as pissed as them and you know it.

Hey fella...I realize you're just a Florida fan, so I'm gonna sympathetically say this with plain, simple English. If necessary, I'll break out a chalk board and some colorful crayons and draw you a pretty little picture to explain; That is NOT what this thread is about. Stop diverting away from the point, please!

It wasn’t reversed. It was not confirmed.

I would be Pissed we lost but would give credit to the defender for one of the best plays I have ever seen.

I know you prefer flag football, but hard hits are allowed in real football.

And to add an arse whipping by Clemson in the CPF and a total beatdown by Bama in the 2020 national title game.
Yea, I'll give the Buckeyes 2002 and 2014 but they have been...less than impressive. I get their fans take on this. How many times are we gonna get there and get smacked around...again.
Herbie played there and is a Buckeye but they are doing what they did in the 70's 80's 90's and now. Great seasons, $hitty post seasons.

An injury does not mean a penalty occurred. The defender led with the shoulder and made first contact with MHJ's shoulder. It wasn't targeting, it was just a clean hard hit. The outcome of MHJ getting hurt is irrelevant.

I had no rooting interest either way in the game so this isn't coming from any kind of bias of mine either

OSU was a missed mid-ranged field goal away from a national championship.

I’m not sure that was a collapse.
