Nope
Pitts and Wydermyer from A&M had more touchdowns, yards and a higher avg

All right, I'll grow up now.
Since you are a LSU fan, I'll ask you. Do you think Johnson or Brennan will start next year.

They also had these really cool things called stable quarterback situations, and neither are freshmen

Brennan easily. He was averaging like 350 yards a game and 3+ tuddy’s until he got injured. If our defense was worth a lick at that point in the season we would have been a solid team

I think so too. I liked Johnson, thought he was scrappy, but he and his team were a heavy underdog vs UF. And you know, when you don't really have a dog in the fight, it is natural to pull for the underdog.

I imagine towards the end of the season most unbiased fans would have found themselves rooting for us in our games. We were playing with heart and not a lot else and heart is appealing
I think Johnson has the potential to be the starting QB at LSU and a good one at that. I think a year behind Brennan will do him well

Quite the opposite (whether you think I'm biased or not). LSU showed true colors with all the opting out, particularly JC and TM. I like a couple of your individuals players who gave all they had, more so Stevens and Gaye.

You’re a bama fan. I wouldn’t expect any Bama fan to root for us in any scenario. Same way I would never root for Bama.
But not liking us because of the opt outs should make the young players who stepped up and played their hearts out more appealing

Well yes I am. Still, it made me have less respect for the program overall as symptomatic than anything.
Again, there are few players on your side I like and respect. But it's hard since they are overshadowed by the lackluster culture. I don't want to sound too harsh because it's hard to handle success. As Saban said, it's harder to sustain success than building it.

We aren't really like that. Not with LSU. Not most of us. When LSU is ranked higher and/or ahead of Bama in the division and it is in Bama's best interest for LSU to lose, then sure. Most of us pull for 2 teams every week. Alabama and whoever is playing Auburn. Maybe we'll get back to hating UT if they ever get their act together.

I guess I should have said I wouldn’t expect any Bama fan to actively root for lsu, as in get excited for plays or be hopeful or anything like that, as opposed to suggesting that Bama fans are actively rooting against LSU in all things.
I just want goof football in the CFP to be honest. The only thing that upsets me about Alabama is Nick Saban for obvious reasons

Oh I see. Then you are correct. It is more a passively root for

Besides that's not how you say it or spell it.

That's because you're one of the good bama fans. I forgot to add viceman to my list of bama fans I like but it was one. That's before you posted in this thread too

I sure wish lsu would have hung on to burton and rakim jarret from maryland .
I thought demas, from a and m was the most athletic prospect I've ever seen, he didnt record a catch this year. I'd still take him though. Can someone explain why he hasnt been on the field. Texags why isnt demas playing?

Not including LSU players to show my homerism, the only right answer is Will Anderson. I don't think it's close at all either.
