Johnson will continue LSU’s long tradition of mediocre QB play in 2021.

Why wouldn’t Brennan start next year?

And isn’t Mond doing the same thing for A&M?

Jaden Walley for sure. He’s gonna reset the State WR record books (not that it’s a huge feat). With Robertson coming in at QB, Rogers isn’t as crucial.

ETA: From other teams, Boutte and that #7 from UGA that torched us.

The freshmen that impressed me the most this year and looked like future (or already are) studs

Defense
- Will Anderson (Alabama)
- Malachi Moore (Alabama)
- Tim Smith (Alabama)
- Brian Branch (Alabama)
- Jaquelin Roy (LSU)
- BJ Ojulari (LSU)
- Elias Ricks (LSU)
- Jalen Carter (Georgia)
- McKinnley Jackson (Texas A&M)
- Emmanuel Forbes (Miss St)

Offense
- Kayshon Boutte (LSU)
- Chase Lane (Texas A&M)
- Jalin Hyatt (Tennessee)
- Jermaine Burton (Georgia)
- Jaden Walley (Miss St)
- Tank Bigsby (Auburn)
- Devon Achane (Texas A&M)

I thought Max Johnson and Will Rogers did a nice job too. The Seals kid from Vanderbilt also has some talent.

Arik Gilbert if he stays I would take over everyone on that list except maybe Boutte or Burton tbh

Brennan needs to start next year,I'm starting to get irritated with the way our fans are about him and max. Sorry but ones a somewhat athletic gritty accurate passer.the other is a potential starting qb in the nfl if he reaches his potential

Kind of my thought too. Max Johnson seems like a kid who grew up watching film with his dad and is mentally at peak level even as a freshman, but I'm not sure there is a lot of room for growth and improvement there. Doesn't mean he's a bad player, just one that is probably going to have a relatively low ceiling compared to some others. He's still heady and tough, which is not something to be taken lightly. He could definitely be a solid SEC starter and probably have a shot to be drafted.

Brennan and the LSU offense never really seemed in sync, but he made tons of big, explosive throws and plays. He's got a high ceiling, but he's also down to basically 1 year left to reach it.

Max Johnson has that kind of potential too. Starting NFL QB that is. He’s joystick extremely underdeveloped and Myles is 100% the starter next year as what a senior at this point?

He runs a 4.9 right?

His high school tape has him being ran down almost every play. Why was he rated so high

Max Johnson seems to display the will or desire to win, and makes those around him better. Just needs to bulk up a little.

It's fun - good topic you put out there

There were a ton of really good freshmen this year, across the board.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I am saying that the no interceptions, medium strength around 50% thrower for us has worked in the past for us

I think it’s way harder to judge a QB’s upside than some people think. Max Just starts making better decisions and gets some more protection and all of a sudden he’s completing 70%. I could see it easily

Darnell Washington TE will be a beast along with Gilbert for UGA next year.

Too bad Kendall Milton (RB) got hurt...he's also a beast

Yea, I could see that too. I loved watching him play the last 2 weeks. Made really good decisions and ran hard when he tucked it.
