But it absolutely blows my mind how the SOME OF LSU fanbase pretends they weren't all but fed up with him just a year ago.

Good post swoop, I made it more accurate. I NEVER wanted to get rid of Miles. The ones that did make me

It was more of a "come on Miles, fire Crowton", more than fire Miles. JMO though. I like Miles. I knonw it is an AU question, but i would take Saban, Richt, Bobby P, Steve if i had to replace Miles.

Would you take any of them over Miles?

If that is the case what is Miles records without his best players? What about Saban without INgram or Richardson...hmmm...stupid logic is stupid.

Please watch the NFL draft and look at the All-American teams. They are full of LSU and Alabama players. Not so much Auburn players.

I was and always will be a Saban fan. I like the way he coaches and almost demands his players to act like pros. If i was a player, that would be the type of coach i would want to play for. He would be the only one that i would consider, but i would have to flip a coin to see. Miles is great, lets his players play at their own comfort level. His leash is a bit longer than Saban. Listening and reading what former LSU players have to say, all loved their coach but the ones talking about Miles seem to have a wide smile as they speak. I don't know either of them personally, but to me, miles treats them like his kids, saban treats them like employees.

I have always liked miles bc he seems so down to earth compared to a lot of coaches. I just feel like that is also why he has recruited so well. Most people questioned his in game coaching but few questioned his recruiting.

Saban is obviously still a great coach which is tough but wins. I think petrino is a good coach but I would never want him bc of his attitude. I really like Mullen. I think he would be really successful at a big university

Saban? No (but only just because he's a bama coach, if he wasn't I'd do it. I have no problem calling him the best HC in CFB.)

Miles? Yes (Tenative yes. Its easier to recruit at LSU than AU. Not sure he could do at AU what he's done at LSU)

Petrino? Toss-Up. (Haven't seen Petrino put up a really good defense yet. Maybe that'd be easier to do at AU though? He really comes off as a angry little child with his MFer bit at the LSU game this year.)

Mullen? No (he peaked in the 2011 pre-season.)

Freeze? No (You have to have HC experience to be considered.)

Richt? No (Been around too long. HCs have a half life of ~10 years once they get to a major program)

Spurrier? No (Too old)

Muschamp? No (First year at UF wasn't impressive, and despite how fantastic of a coach Saban is, I'm growing skeptical of his coaching tree.)

Dooley? No (I expected him to be competitive in the WAC at Tech, and he never was. Tech didn't have to beat Boise or Nevada, but they should have been way better under Dooley. I fear the same will be said of his tenure at UT.)

Franklin? No (Not yet, but he's looking good after 1 year. Talk to me again in a few years.)

Phillips? No (Hell no. Didn't you hear Barkley? We're racist.)
